Alright y’all. Let me tell you about these GLORIOUS WINGS. 1) I feel like a magical wondrous bird while wearing these things. I’m a tall gal (5’9”) but these things have a WINGSPAN and it’s great! 2) I live in New Orleans, I bought these for a Mardi Gras parade I walk in. This year it rained on us. And I mean it POURED. These things held up. They got drenched and look good as new. Now would I recommend dunking them in water? No. But did they hold up? Yes.Here are some things you should know before buying this product.1. I got the gold and the fabric is not particularly soft. So set your expectations accordingly.2. There is an elastic collar that you Velcro around your neck that holds them on; it isn’t very comfortable. That being said I just put about 6 safety pins through the collar of the wings and to the collar of my outfit and it was perfect! No itching, no tugging at my neck!3. It does not come with rods that hold the wings out. You can buy their rods online or do what I did and go to the hardware store. I bought 2 quarter inch wooden dowels that I cut to size. They were honestly so light weight I could walk around not holding onto them and it didn’t weigh down or pull at the wings at all.

I got these wings in three different colors for a religious/spiritual event, and they were a HUGE hit. Everyone loved them, and I did too! They flow very well and look great when dancing. The only complaint I have is that the neck strap is elastic and this tends to choke those of us with larger necks. But once I found I way to attach the Velcro of the neck strap to my clothes collar, I found I could wear them all night... and I totally did! They don't come with the sticks, but I found that normal dowel rods work just fine. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to make a splash in a fun and unique way.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these wings in two colors red and black for on camera shoot the Dance of Mother Nature Force. It is beautifully flying during the Dance, making the necessary patterns, despite the fact that I was wearing both red and black at the same time. It was nice to work with them. Colors are bright. I washed them in the machine in a lightweight mode in a laundry bag, simply because during the dance we traveled in different places and there is no time to handwash. It was dried several times in the dryer, although I advise immediately after washing to hang and dry in the air. Folds remained after repeated washing. No ironing were necessary. Very comfortable. I think that if you wash and dry them by hand, then they generally will serve you very long time and I will always be happy during the Dance. I wore this as part of my Halloween costume this year, it was fun to dance with. An added bonus was that it was warm (even though I didn’t expect it to be), it made a decent windbreaker. The only downsides were that it was very long and I ended up needing to trim it, and the Velcro is scratchy on the neck. Both things are easily fixable but if you don’t prepare ahead of time for the neck part, you’ll end up with a welt.

Nothing special at the moment.

My only complaint is that the elastic is a bit tight around the neck and can be uncomfortable, but otherwise the wings are gorgeous and perfectly functional! Also very easy to keep and manage in storage!

It's pretty. That is all. Velcro is too tight on neck. Itchy and uncomfortable. I had to try to sew it and readjust and it's not a forgiving material. Snags easily. When you buy an item it's not fun when you have to refurbish it.
