I love that Birlkies are trying to get more stylish, but these slides made my toes spread out in an unattractive way and I had to sort of clutch with my toes to keep them on. Also, I felt there was way too much hard molding and support in the design of the sole to be very comfortable. Felt like a torture device really, and I would expect after an hour or so of wearing that they would really be painful. I returned them. Nice try, but not yet there for both style and comfort.

at 57, I finally had to accept that I can not wear heels anymore. But I LOVE wearing heels. Mostly a wedge heel but after wearing my favorite wedge shoe to my Dad's burial service, I was in pain for 10 days after. I came home and tossed every pair of shoes with a heel and went on line to Birks to see what they have. I chose these to start with and I'm in love. I wore these shopping when I had 4 stops to make at Costco, Target, Grocery and Hardware stores, came home 9 hours later and never once thought about taking my shoes off. What shoes? My feet were in heaven. I will be collecting this shoe in every color. Thankyou Birkenstock for making such awesome shoes for the foot (legs, knees, back, hips)

This is such a pretty shoe. Exactly what I want for skirts and nice pants. Good quality leather upper. And I love the wedge heel. The size I ordered (8) was a bit smaller than my usual (8 1/2 or 9), even a narrow width and my feet are slightly on the wide side. I thought surely they would fit based on other reviews saying the upper is a bit loose. Well, they were a good fit for the length but had a very loose leather upper. I’m so disappointed because I really like this shoe. I’ve returned it with no problem at all. My search for that perfect shoe continues.

A bit too big, still comfortable, my fault completely I ordered a 39 when I take a 38. Still, very pleased eith the style and comfort.

Beautiful shoe that is super comfortable. Regular width medium shoe is what I always wear. I have many pairs of Birkenstock’s and they have always fit well. These shoes stretched out in width after wearing them less than a few times. Now they are hard to walk in because your foot is not secure in the shoe. Very bummed to have to return them! Finally Birkenstock makes an attractive wedge heel but missed the mark on the material. I love the black suede but they have to go back. I also have the gold tone color and they stretched out even more after 5x of wearing them.

I wear birks daily and have wanted these wedges for ages. I finally went for it but didn't anticipate quite how narrow this narrow shoe would be. They do get more comfortable, the more you wear them but I could barely get them on at first. I always wear a 41 in birkenstock but this shoe is, as advertised, very narrow! Don't let this discourage you from buying them but be aware.

So.. this shoe is supposed to run narrow per the description but I found the opposite. It is very much a shoe for wide feet! I have normal to narrow feet and at the toe opening, I’d need 2 more extra toes to fill them up. Lol...Odd fit... do not get these unless you have wide feet. Sadly I had to return mine : (

I know this is marked as a “narrow” shoe- however many reviews said it would work for wider feet. That was not the case for me- sending back! The quality is evident and style is super cute though. The box and shoe did not say Birkenstock- it said Papillio.
