Thick cedar cuts that smell great. The wood was perfectly planed with no bowing/curving. It was easy to put together and incredibly well made with durable hardware (and plenty of extras). I don't think I could make it myself for cheaper either. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for and this is excellent quality.

This is a beautiful swing. It came with really nice hardware and all the wood pieces are pre-drilled. It took about an hour to put together.

I am so happy with how this turned out. I was a bit nervous about putting something together ourselves, but my husband and I did it very easily in an afternoon and spent the rest of the evening and weekend enjoying it. The materials are EXTREMELY sturdy. I feel very secure sitting on it, and have absolutely no concerns about anything happening to it with winds, weather, etc.I love the way it changed the backyard. It's such a great place to sit in the morning with coffee, sit in the evening with wine, watch the sunset, talk with a friend. I know we have a backyard patio, but this is just such a more soothing and intimate space, just begs for a close conversation or a quite reflective moment.I will be using this as often as I can, maybe even when the snow comes!

Great value as long as you can handle putting a lot of pieces of wood together. Well made and beautiful on my porch, been there a year and a half and still holding strong.

I expected that the swing would only require me to attach the back to the seat, then finish with the arms and chains. Not so. Nothing was preassembled. Not much of an issue because everything fit well and went together without much fuss. A screw gun is a big time saver. I did have two bolts with faulty threads and I should have requested replacements but used them anyway. If I have one concern going forward it is that the arms are only attached at the front with two wood screws driven into end grain. I would have preferred some angle brackets.

This is a great swing, comfortable and sturdy. My husband is very good at diy so he had no trouble putting it together. It's true that the cross pieces are cut a little too small but you can still fit them and they provide strong support. We stained it and it looks awesome.

We bought this to replace the one we had had for 15 years. Very easy to put together and looks great. Not sure if it was necessary, but we did put a wood protectant on it since it’s out in the weather. Would definitely recommend this swing.
