A lot of fun
These are a lot of fun - have fun PRACTICING! You will find your favorite colors and techniques. I watched a few YouTube videos to get then and of it. There are also good tips on back of the package. In the photo below (I hope) - the green hills painted in my (Khadi 5x6/Amazon) sketchbook (LOVE IT) is just ONE color burst color, olive green, from the Moroccan set, lightly, LIGHTLY, sprinkled onto a wet wash hill shape and guided ever so gently with a brush. I bought the Moroccan AND the Earthtones set which I think is actually more in my preferred palette range - I just tossed a coin as to which to throw in my suitcase.

Great fun, but test prior to doing project!
These are great once you get the hang of using them. I tried using a plant mister and FORGET ABOUT IT! Too much water! Amazon sells small spritzers that work PERFCTLY with them. Cardstock may be used as well as watercolor papers. Test the way you use them prior to doing a project, if you never used them before. They are a dry pigment powder, so water must be used to activate the "burst". You can spritz the cardstock first, then add the powder. I prefer spritzing after powders are applied. You will have more control over the look you want, altho these will do their pretty much their own thing anyway! You can also dissolve a small amount of powder in small amount of water, into one of the mini misters I mentioned and spray over stencils. Try all sorts of things once it is in the mister. Amazon has a very Good price and only use a small amount when firsttesting. I don't have the misters number handy, but I will review as soon as I am finished here. BUY THE MINI MISTERS with this product if you do not have any.

VERY DISAPPOINTING Earth Tones
I ordered this "earth tones" set specifically to use with botanical prints. The pigment powder is intense as noted by others and very bright, not at all the earthy tones I was expecting. The first photo I uploaded is of a small amount of the powder and a short spritz of water. The second is with additional powder and much more water spritzed on. I think the manufacturer would better serve customers by providing a representative color chart with his products.

Done searching
These powders are amazing! I have a lot of different types of watercolors and these are my favorites. I read the reviews of how the powder comes out of the tiny nozzle so I prepared myself by being careful. The entire top half can be removed so that was a pleasant surprise. I love how little of the powder you have to use and the colors are very vibrant.

Holy Cow!!!
I am instantly a huge fan of Ken Oliver products. I got the Color Burst Liquid Metals and was blown away. Ordered these Color Burst Earth Tones and felt like I was entering Fantasy Land. Could not be happier. These will last so long as you truly do only need a minimal amount for a huge effect. Careful though as it takes just a tap of the bottle or else you will get way to much. Thank you again Ken Oliver!!!

Endless possibilities & a beautiful spectrum of colors with the Ken Oliver Watercolor Color Burst Powders
Ken Oliver watercolors are my new go-to watercolor powders! The colors are beautiful & vibrant. I mask my paper with stencils, sprinkle the smallest amount of color & spritz with water and voila! a watercolor paper, with the design & colors that I need for my project. I also enjoy using the powder because I can mix the colors I want. I do suggest that you go easy with the bottles when pouring the powder out. If you squeeze too hard, you will end up with TONS of powder that you do not need. A little goes a long way!

Vibrant colors
Bright colors! These bottles are filled powder that you squeeze out but be careful, once the powder comes out it goes everywhere. Lesson learned the hard way. I found it best to tap out into the container and all water with a wet brush, if you a spray bottle the powder flies everywhere. After using the colors I liked the outcome. Vibrant and easy to mix. I watched a few videos to learn more and it was worth it. This is designed to be used with a water brush or paint brush and water. Great on watercolor paper.

For drying I sandwiched it with a binder (weight) to keep it from wrinkling.
Love it! Takes a bit of practice to learn but if you like burst of color, you’ll like these. Be careful the purple buries the other colors. I tested them on a print out of the books of the Bible. It was fun. Looking forward to using them in a picture.

Creates lovely effects
You have to keep in mind that colours will smudge and run depending on the surface and dampness of where you store the artwork
