too lemony. lots of basil though. i thought i had ordered a rustic pesto but got the lemon.

Every single jar in this order was leaking. Had to throw the entire order away. Either bad vendor or bad shipping. I love this pesto.

Lots of basil in this, and it's a real puree, not chunks, so it blends into recipes such as pasta sauce better.Has pine nuts and even chestnuts, and contains sunflower oil instead of olive oil (an interesting choice). This is all natural, gluten-free and non-GMO. They go easy on the garlic, too. Garlic is the cheapest ingredient and most pestos have way too much in my opinion.
