Great for my use.
I installed this on a patio door so the door could be cracked open but still secured. By moving the slide part higher than the lock I was able to make it so an outsider could not reach in and slide the chain up far enough to unlock it. I can still open the door about 5 inches. It worked out great! It seems to be good quality material and matches other hardware on the door.

To be honest, this design is not that smart... Please measure the distance when you install it....

efficient for the price payed
These chain locks were ordered to give some security without having actual locks on the doors. They arrived promptly, and I was able to set them up without too much effort, and they are doing their job well.

zero stars beware
Ordered four...two were opened one was cut and keys screws and chain missing!!!! Everything was dirty and dusty! Placed a email and they plain out lied. So a to z again. Do not waste your time or money!

I've had these door chains before. I love that they have a key so they aren't easily overcome. It's extra security when I go out. Not hard at all to install and very well made
