Disappointing with this product off Sony..they have send me wrong one or they mean to do that, i am not sure was so expensive i pay all total in english money about £188 so when i looked in other places was much chipper to buy..one thing is good because is not made in china or other junk country like india.. any radio you get from japan never it will work in any other waves like SW.LW.MW.AM never never outside japan..so any one thinking to buy outside from japan need to ask me first.. it work very good in FM and so clear vice..i never memorised any stations in this radio don't work.. and other thing pro ply is not the radio in the photo you see it will be total deferent when you receive from japan.. can't set the time in LSD many may things in this radio wrong.. i would like to advise the seller to be honesty to tell the truth about this product.. which i was going to return to the seller for not sending me the correct product.. just don't bother me about because it will cost me to send back and not possible to get my duty tax fee and VAT to.. so just i am not bother any more. just i am going to listen only in FM because other stations don't work at all..hope the seller contact me about me not being not happy.. many thank you for your time

Great set. Antenna kit is needed since the reel antenna provides limited reception. Also, it does not come with an AC adapter. You need to go to Radio Shack and get a universal adapter. Otherwise, great deal.

Yes, great radio, but not worth $700. What's with that absurd price? I have one I bought several years ago for less than half this price. I just don't understand how it can not only be so expensive, but if it breaks, it's a throwaway, no one will work on it. But the radio itself is very nice.
