Great to have in the boat
Works great on top of marine cooler.Easy to clean, have fillet out 4 halibut, biggest 25 pounds. Worked great. I think it would work great for salmon also. It is thick about 1/4 inch Helps not sliding around. Highly recommend.

Best fish fillet mats out there
I fish 50+ days per year in the Pacific Northwest and have tried several brands of fillet mats. This is the best one I’ve used and works great for salmon, lingcod, halibut, tuna, rockfish and more. Great for on the boat or my fish cleaning table at home. Just be sure to give it a hose down and scrub after each use and it’s good to go.

Got it in the mail today right after I caught a 20 pound Chinook and used it to clean my fish. My salmon did not move. It held onto the fish like you wouldn't believe. I previously ordered a smaller mat from Amazon and it worked but was to small so the next day I searched for a large mat and found this and wow the fish has about 3x the surface to lay on while you clean it. The fillets come out nice because the fish didn't move around or slide. I'm going to buy more for prizes in a salmon derby because this fish cleaning mat is remarkable. The small one worked mind you but 36 inches of surface to clean big salmon on is more realistic. It is also not a bumpy surface so super easy to clean when finished. I 100% recommend.

Who thought it was a good idea to apply a big sticker to it?
This is a good fish cleaning mat. The issue I have is that there was a large sticker stating that it is a fish cleaning mat that left a very sticky residue when removed. It took a while to get it cleaned off so I could use it.

Works as advertised
Just what I was looking for, a flat, nonskid, washable surface sized to get a decent purchase on slippery, larger sized halibut, lingcod, etc.

Great purchase
Bought this for my husband to stop using newspaper on my dining room table. Works great, doesn't slide around and easy to clean up!

A very nice product
The mat works great. The mat holds the fish steady while filleting or cleaning . After buying the first one I bought 2 more for gifts to others in my group.

Filet mat
Mat is a great size. Thick and has some weight to it. Fish do not slide around.
