Van HeusenMen's Regular Fit Twill Solid Button Down Collar Dress Shirt

I ordered the large. 16.5 neck 34/35 inch sleeve. Which fits me perfectly. These are very nice Poplin wash and wear shirts. These go just as well with a suit and tie as they do with a pair of jeans and sport coat. These are not broadcloth shirts or 100% cotton, but a blend of 55% cotton and 45% Polyester. They look and feel exactly as pictured, which is very nice. Very silky and smooth texture. Very comfortable to wear. Washing and care instructions on the tag are, wash on warm gentle cycle with like colors, tumble dry. Permanent press. If you take them out of the dryer before the cycle ends, and haven't dried them with too many other clothes, they will hardly need ironing at all. That really depends on how many other clothes you have in the dryer. If you do need to iron them, iron on medium heat only, or you'll ruin these shirts. Same as if your ironing a tie. If you dry them on low heat by themselves, they dry in about 10 minutes wrinkle free. I stand 6' and weigh 195. And these fit nicely once tucked in. They have plenty of tail to tuck in so your not constantly having to stuff your shirt back in your pants. For the price, these shirts were a bargain. I bought three, the colors are mostly identical to the image shown. A tad less brighter perhaps, but mostly as seen. In the pictures below I have the Cobalt blue, the lighter blue one, the Royal Blue and the Sage.. Also the tag showing the size for large.

Van Heusen is a known and trusted brand, so I knew I could count on them to once again produce a top notch dress shirt, even this time for a gold/khaki/tan color. I wore this under a black v-neck sweater to a Christmas party where the theme was actually a black and gold color scheme. I must admit that in the photos from the party this dress shirt looks more shinier than in person, but it doesn't do too much; meaning it's not too loud. It's presentable and respectable, and doesn't scream, "Hey look at me" but at the same time it's not dull. The feel is comfortable. I usually wear shirts in XL size, but ordered this dress shirt in a Large. The fit was thankfully not snug, and actually a little bit generous. Not too loose, though. IMO this is ideal to wear underneath black, blue, maroon, and red v-neck sweaters. Great buy and I will be wearing again, obviously.

I like the shirt, it's comfortable and it's sized correctly. When I first saw the shirt, I thought the color was not accurately depicted- the color is scarlet- but after actually wearing out, I realized that the light that I was viewing it in was not good. The color is quite nice and not nearly as loud as I originally thought. I'd feel very comfortable wearing this in a professional environment.

I'm at the point where I need a larger neck size. When I go past 181/2, it seems I wind up with a Big/Tall shirt and that's not the answer. This one is just right. Washes nicely at home so don't need to take it to the laundry, and that's great.

The fabric, construction and fit are very good. I do not like sateen shirts with sheen and the shirt I received is not sateen and does not have sheen. Update - I've noticed that when a product receives several positive reviews the price usually increases. Therefore, the current price of this product may be higher than the price I paid when I bought the product and posted my review. I'm a frugal shopper and I buy a product only if I believe the price is reasonable.

This shirt is very comfortable, fits as expected and is very soft. After several washings it maintains its wrinkle free shape.

The quality is good, especially for the price, but two things bothered me. I ordered three shirts, and they were all repackaged, I expect they had been either tried on or used. They were clean and all, but still. Secondly, the breast pocket is positioned very low. I suppose it would have been perfect, had I been Sofia Loren or a body builder, but as it is, it sits much lower than I'm used to. Bottom line, though, is that for the price, these are good shirts.

I require size 15/32 and the company states that I should take their Medium. That's the only choice, and it's too big. There is nothing in between, and the range of sizes jumps too much from one size to another. It has white buttons, which make it too visible for my purposes as a performer on stage. All in all, I would not get this again (although it is usable).
