Super convenient to shred personal information from mailings. But the it's rather stiff to operate and requires a bit of strength to use.

I’m a sucker for Japanese stationary and being that I’m limited on space in my home office, I decided to opt for these shredder scissors instead of a bulky paper shredder. This is a good option for shedding addresses off envelopes, but not much else. While they are functional, I will probably end up purchasing a paper shredder.

Chops up sensitive papers like nobody's business! It doesn't cut as thoroughly when the paper is heavy cardstock, but the ink is still torn up enough to be illegible and waaaaay to difficult to piece together. Much like the tiny flecks of paper that come out when the document is a normal paper.If you have athritis or weak hands, it may hurt your hands using it too much. Not difficult to cut, but there is a bit of give back, if you know what I mean.Glad I purchased it! Takes up way less space than an electric one, and I don't have to worry about electricity to shred my documents. (Easier to use these scissors than normal scissors, let me tell you!)

So far, I have tried these scissors out on regular paper stock and credit cards. They work well on paper that is not too thick because they shred in a crosscut action. They leave a lot of little paper bits behind. I found that just using regular scissors to cut up credit cards worked better for me. All in all, they do the job and are a sturdy pair of scissors.

If you want to cut single pieces of paper, these will work with a little muscle. However, I purchased these to cut mailing labels. These are not for that purpose unless you want to spend an afternoon cutting up a half sheet. They require a lot of physical effort, and the design is such that you need to move over the area multiple times to get the data erased. Plus after each move, you need to clear the blades because of their hollowed out design.The seller, while he will say that he's been responsive, has really not been. There have been multiple emails, pictures sent and now he wants me to return them to Japan. I've only returned a few of my Amazon purchases and the only place I've had to return them is to Kohl's. Before I purchased, I made sure I could return these-didn't expect to have to ship them back to Japan. I've purchased other products from Japan and they all went back to Amazon via Kohl's. I think the return expectations should be noted so this does not happen to other people. Not happy at all. There is enough stress going on right now and this should not be part of it.

These shredder scissors are excellent to use to shred private information on paper. I’ve only used these scissors on paper, not CDs or credit cards. USAGE TIP: add lubricating oil on the scissors so the shredding action is smoother. Using an electric shredder on entire sheets of paper seems a waste. I have to clean out the electric shredder gears after they start to get stuck. I find I mostly just need to shred a few key pieces of information on billing or account statements. These scissors shred the paper into very tiny squares. There’s no chance to put these squares together for information.

I usually collect a bunch of papers and docs that should be shredded but I really have to make myself do it. I won’t use this on all doc, some are too large but for those single page statements that have too much info on them to just toss, these scissors do a great job and are perfect for the quick fix.

I love the scissors! They came within the time they promised and they work perfectly, one thing I have to say though is to keep the blade in its plastic sleeve when it's not in use, the ridges are still exposed even with the scissors closed. I bought these with the intention to shred my mailing address on letters. The scissors are wide enough to cover the print :)

力加減で大きめのハリも取れて重宝してるので★5です。ただし、力加減は慎重にしないと、用紙へのダメージが大きくなるので注意です。

切れ味は悪くないと思うけど、刃の並びが少ないので、何回も切り刻まないといけないことに購入してから気がついた。それにカードを切るには思ったより力が必要だった。

この半年、私はほぼホチキス取りの仕事をしていたと言ってもいい。同所の先輩方の話で、このタイプのホチキス外しが革命的と言われ半信半疑で購入した。今まではスティックタイプのホチキス外ししか使ったことが無かったが、これは秀逸。ホチキスに差し込んでプッシュすれば引き抜いてくれるのだ。書類は傷つかない。今時紙を大量に使ってるような職場はあまり無いのかもしれないが、ホチキスを外すことが少しでもあって、なおかつスペースが許すのであればこのタイプの商品をお勧めしたい。スティックタイプに比べて多少スペースをとるのだけ許してほしい。

10番のホチキスに挿入できず、ぐりぐりやると紙が痛む…リムーバーの挿入部分を、もう少し薄めか細めに出来たらいいと思う。リムーバー自体の性能は申し分ない。耐久性も十分。ガチガチに硬いホチキスを何百本も外すような変な使い方さえしなければ、とても良い商品。
