YogaDirect Deluxe Mexican Yoga Blanket

This blanket is much thicker and well made than ones I have bought previously, such as Hand Woven Classic Mexican Yoga Blankets by Rolling Sands. I've washed it once so far and it has held up. I'm using as a chair cover to keep dog hair off and the colors are great!

Excellent as a cute blanket. The stitching is looser though the black and white stripe section. It kinda smelled when it first arrived so I washed it and a piece of the stitching came loose (as pictured.) However over all I am vary happy with this and plan on ordering another as a gift.Update:I initially have this blanket 4 stars. I am now changing it to 2 Stars because I have only had this about a month and it is quickly falling apart! At first there was just the one strand that came loose when I washed it but now they are all over and there is a hole about the size of a quarter! (With this update I have included a picture of the hole and some more loose strings.)

I have dozens of Mexican blankets, but this one is my favorite— no contest. It is large enough to wrap around your whole body (or mine, anyway- I’m 5’3”). It is thicker than most, which makes it great for yoga. I like to fold it up and use it in place of yoga blocks or rollers, but it is thick enough to use as a mat, as well. I purchased the gray pattern and it is beautiful! The blend may be high in acrylic, but it is woven in such a way that it is still very soft. I have not yet tried to wash it, but I would imagine a cold delicate cycle would be best and drying on low or no heat may be a good idea. The blanket comes packaged with a link to care instructions.

I really like the blanket itself; it's vibrant and looks as described. It was the nicest aesthetically of many of these kind of blankets I have seen online.3 stars because the material is rather cheap. The fabric is thin and the strings are pulling out even though I've been very gentle with it. It also came dirty with wheat and other grass embedded in it and this was difficult to remove.

Surpassed my expectations by a mile. There is NO pilling, NO strange order, only extremely soft fabric detailing a beautiful design. This is very large and has a nice heavy weight to it. I bought mine to use for yoga classes, and while it is great for that, it's size and heavy weight may be just a bit too big for assistance in my yoga practice, but I will have a million other uses for it. If you're looking for more support while stretching or to help hold your yoga poses this blanket is definitely for you!

I am really bad about paying attention to measurements of items and have gotten a couple of things that are smaller than expected. These are huge. One covers our oversized love seat. I got two for the sofa. They are thick and will greatly help to keep the microfibre stuff clean

The Deluxe Mexican Yoga blanket did not hold up very well under light use. I only used the blanket to sit on during yoga twists and for a cover during final relax, yet holes in the weave developed. I am disappointed in the quality and would not buy again.

Perfect yoga/meditation blanket. It's thick enough that you can use it for support during many restorative yoga postures and can also be used to cover you and keep you warm and at the end of practice and/or to meditate. Plus, the blanket (I got gray) is well made and a beautiful accent to the room.
