Review Update, prongs too short on 4 - wait, 2nd update now!
Sadly, I'm having to revise my review. I bought these in 2021 but have only gotten around just now to needing more than one. I’ve a Zephyr hood insert that uses these halogen lights. The first light went in quite easily… it works well…The second light only recently burnt out on our hood vent, and that’s when I found that 2 of the bulbs were dead. To top it off, it seemed initially something was very wrong with the Zephyr’s bulb socket on that one side, because I could insert the bulb’s prongs, but they just wouldn’t turn. I finally tried 2 more bulbs, and found only the 3rd turned – and turned quite easily, I might add. So the prongs were too short on at least 4 (I compared). So, to fit into the sockets of the Zephyr insert vent, only 2 of the bulbs were manufactured with the correct length prongs.Original Review: I’m reading reviews written that complain of broken and/or non-working bulbs, which is pretty sad for any customer. I took a chance on these, and happily it paid off. I’ve a Zephyr Range Hood that uses 2 of these halogen bulbs, and needed a replacement. You can buy them elsewhere, but the cost can be quite a bit more. Mine arrived in perfect condition (the box they came in was fine for shipping). I’ve had 1 new one installed for only a couple weeks, but it's are working fine. My primary concern was that they might not be ‘warm’ in color, as I don’t care for the cooler blue tone of cool bulbs. These were ‘warm’ and identical to the original that came with the range hood.UPDATE 2nd PURCHASE: So, I bought these again, after 2 years.I purchased these again because if even only 2 bulbs were in full working order, it was still cheaper in price than elsewhere. Happily, all bulbs light up, and all posts appear to be the correct length and position, not damaged or too short. So it’s back up to 4 stars.

Worked Great
I bought these to get more of a flood light under my stove hood range and these bulbs worked great. A great improvement over the original bulbs which were more like a spot light.
