WARN 98279 Service Kit - Aluminum Tie Rod: 0.625" x 8.92"

These were exactly what I was looking for to use on my superwinch talon. I am remote mounting the solenoid box on this winch and when you remove it, the winch has some flex because the solenoid box is not securing it. These rods were the exact length I needed and worked perfectly.

These fit my XD9000 perfectly. After 20+ years of use I decided to do a tear down, new motor, synthetic line, clean and lube the planetary gears, and of course spruce up it's looks. There connecting tie rods were pretty rough looking after years of winch cable on occasion balling up and grinding against the tire rods. Tie rods even come with new bolts that are self tapping as the new tire rods come without internal threads. My XD9000 looks like a new winch and once again looks good on the front of my Defender 90.

I ordered the tie rod kit that pulled up for the 4000 and these tie rods sent are way too big

Good fit. Did not realize when I ordered them that they were not threaded. They come with tapping bolts that take care of that though. All good
