New Balance Women's 940 V4 Running Shoe

I wear a 9.5AA and I run mostly 10k to halfMarathon races. I also need a shoe that offers motion control but that has an upper that doesn’t put too much pressure on my right big toe (bone spur). The 940 is my “go-to” running shoe. I usually get 300-325 miles out of a pair before I retire them for casual wear I’ve exclusively worn NB running shoes since the mid 1980s. This fits very true to size & its consistent with almost every single NB shoe I’ve purchased since 1985. I LOVE this shoe so much that I always keep a brand new pair on hand! :-) PS I have high arches plus a tendency to get plantar fasciitis so I do always use a Currex high arch insole in all my running & cycling shoes.

I have several foot issues , low arches almost flat, bunion surgery, and hammer toes which are hyper-sensitive. I need a shoe with good a roomy toebox but average to narrow heel. These shoes cover most of my issues at a reasonable price. I've only worn them for 1 week so I hope they wear well.

My feet supinate. Recently my right ankle has become weak and bend inward. My right knee has arthritis due to a prior injury many years ago. Together these have cause a lot of knee and back pain to the point that I was consulting an orthopedic surgeon. These shoes have alleviated most of my pain. They support my arches and realign my ankle, knee and hip joints. I actually feel good when I wear them. I still use a medicated cream on my knee but not nearly as much as I used to. This is a great shoe for my supination. I will buy these again.

Love them. I’d say they run a bit big but I love these type. I wasn’t sure at first but once I tried them on 🥳🥳

I worn these a few times and they started to feel big, so I checked the shoes and they were 8W not 8M that I ordered. I put another insole in to take up the extra room. Next I will check the size before I wear them.

This is an awesome pair of shoes, one of the best from New Balance but they are becoming harder to find

Yes, I have Olive Oil FEET! Normally, I wear an 11 SLIM, but lately, Narrow 2A is all I can find except in Munro Shoes. But their styles are all SOLD OUT. So I went shopping on Amazon and found the New Balance Women's 940 V4 Running Shoe. No, I'm not a runner, but a NEW walker!In the past, I ordered size 12 2A with all my New Balance Shoes, but this one, I ordered 13 2A because the 12 2A was too short. I also had to put an extra inner sole under the one in the shoe, laced it up, and everything fit perfectly. A thick sock helped too!After three days of walking, I'm still delighted with the fit and comfort of this shoe. No, it is not as cute as my friends, but walking is more important than style!

I was able to wear them the first day out, they didn't hurt my heels or anything. I'm a woman with a bigfoot, so it was really nice to see a women's shoe fit me right away.
