I got it for someone who has dementia and she absolutely loved it she remembered the different places

Purchased this as a birthday gift for my dad, who grew up in the city, and by all accounts he didn't put it down for three days. A glorious smorgasbord of people, places & events that would be entertaining enough if you'd never been to the place, but for current & former residents, not to mention casual visitors like me, is just about irresistible.

This is a really amazing book about the history of Glasgow great big pictures and very easy to read I got this for my gran and she really loved it she doesn't stop talking about it and loves showing it to everyone that comes to see her she can't thank me enough forgetting it for her.

Fantastic collection of interesting photographs that cover a huge range of key elements in Glasgow's history over the last 100 years. Each one has a short but accurate narrative supporting it.A highly recommended purchase for any Glaswegian.
