Love it!
Comfortable for working out. Doesn't take up space when traveling. Great grip and arch support.

Great shoes
This is my first pair. I got them for working out at the gym. I will never wear another type of shoe to the gym. These fit great, Feel great and really let me plant my feet when lifting weights.

Runs small, order 1 full size up
I wear a 6.5 shoe. I had to return the 6.5-7 size for a 7-7.5 size. Even that one is a bit snug, but I'm hoping it'll stretch out a bit. I think 7.5-8 would be perfect, but I'm not uncomfortable enough to do another exchange. I'll just order that size on my next pair.I love the tread on these and feel like they won't tear up if I wear them outside. The area around the ankle is cushioned nicely. The fabric over the toes is light and stretchy.

Well Built and Comfortable
It had been a long time since I last wore “toe” shoes. These fit true to size and were instantly comfortable to wear.I recommend easing into them over a couple of weeks. Start by walking around the house for an hour at a time, then add some short hikes/runs. I made the mistake of adding a longer run (60 minutes) in the first two weeks and ended up with sore calves and the ligaments in the back of my knee got very inflamed. After three weeks I am doing fine again.Overall, I highly recommend them.

Love it, but runs a bit small.
I had ordered the KSO prior to this model, the EUR 43 had a good fit. Not tight, not loose. Thinking that more than less that they had the same fit to my feet, I was sadly mistaken. I’ll have to go a size up. Unfortunately the size EUR 44 is not available.Initially, I would say that it is quite comfortable in a glove like fit, except for the overall length which is a tad small in my opinion for the second right toe. All the other toes have a comfortable space to move while flexing. Probably due to the rubber compound and cushioning used in this model, which I really love and appreciate since I’m still transitioning to barefoot. When I flex it, the second right toe seems to be hitting the edge, it felt constricted. It’s not the fault of the shoe, it’s just my feet’s anatomy probably.I look forward to the availability of the EUR 44 of the same color and model. I hope it becomes available here soon.

Very comfortable. Quality could be an issue.
I upgraded from Fila's Skeletos. I was very happy with the Vibram Trainer. They are very comfortable, and easy to get on. The soles are definitely better. Thicker, but not so think as to be a regular shoe, and have very good traction, and no slots for twigs and small rocks to get in. And 5 Fingers instead of Fila's 4. I expect them to last way longer than the Filas.Unfortunately, about a week after I had them, one of the loops that hold the tightening cord just plain fell off. All the other loops seem to be attached to the shoe properly. But this made the one shoe unwearable.I returned them for a new pair. Got them in a reasonable time. All the loops look solidly attached.I'll give it a week or two to see how these hold up. Giving them a 4 for now.One more thing... I wear a size (US) 10 shoe. As I saw in other reviews, get 1 size higher, so I got 11s.Update: They have held up quite well. I wear them all the time. 5 it is

Most comfortable shoes EVER!
This is my third pair of Five Fingers, and hands down the best. These are made for outdoor hiking more so than the others I've had. Measure your foot from heel to longest toe, add ~1\2" (to allow for socks). If the description says something odd (mine said something about black and white nonsense), don't worry. I still got exactly the shoes ordered.

Design failure x2
I love this initially as designed. It has the extra upper structural support and tread for some high impact plyo and agility workouts. Specifically I loved the lacing system. And I Tolerated the strap. Unfortunately for some reason Vibram decided to use these barely sewn on fabric loops to thread the laces system instead of having them go directly through the upper material as they do on the kso and v-alpha laced models. I don’t know why they opted to make that change because it’s has led to the sewn on fabric loops to tear away from the upper section on 2 pairs of these shoes rendering them unwearable. The first pair failed the 3rd time wearing them. And the second pair failed after about 3 dozen workouts. If your looking for laces vibrams try the previously mentioned versions. I love those. But if you are wanting these specifically for the laces system, save your money. The only way I see these lasting is if you barely tighten the laces to ensure zero pressure on the sewn on loops and rely entirely on the strap. I’m past my return window with Amazon. I’ll try to reach out to vibram directly but I’m wondering if I’m out the $90+ I wasted on these.Incidentally I love the kso and v-alphas and their lace systems. And still use both of those pairs.

My favorite trail running shoes so far
I had to get these because I wore through the soles of my previous Vibrams over the course of 1.5 years of trail running in forest/mountain terrain. The fit is snug all around with socks, except that the toes are slightly longer than I need them to be. I might have small toes. Although I was hoping to rebuy the exact same shoes again, these (V-Train 2.0) have turned out to be slightly superior with no regressions to complain about so far.I've been trail running in the new shoes for a few weeks now, I'm going to guess 100 to 200 km or so. They are great in the forest or on textured rubber track, but terrible on asphalt and other perfectly solid smooth surfaces, just like the previous thin-soled toe shoes. They also work as water shoes. So, I would highly recommend them for running and playing on natural surfaces, but I would not recommend them for running on paved city paths, boardwalks or for basketball.I can see that the ruggedness of the shoe has been increased in several ways, but none of that will matter if I wear through the sole as quickly as I did to the previous Vibrams; my previous shoes had no significant damage other than sole wear at the balls of the feet. Having said that, the rubber seems slightly harder in the new shoes, and that feels good.
