They changed the scent still smells like the original aloe one but with something added can't pin point it, the scent is stronger now though so that's a plus. One thing I will say is it seems like this one is less drying I remember the other aloe one turning my skin on my hands white, this one doesnt so another plus. Good soap for the single man who just needs to be clean for cheap without having dry skin. And you don't have to worry about tight dry skin like other bargain deodorant soaps that make you itch this is the only Irish spring soap I will use all the other ones really strip the skin besides moisture blast but I'm really sold on this soap will be purchasing again!

Irish Spring makes two different versions of aloe bar soap, aloe and aloe mist, I prefer plain aloe because it has a better scent to me, everyone has different opinions and I’m happy with my 20 bar purchase.

Great soap with soothing aloe

I normally like Irish Spring soaps for this good cleaning and soft scent but I have to admit, this Aloe Mist bars have a very strong perfume scent to them. Not sure I'm a fan of this scent yet.

I used Irish Spring Aloe for about 10 years, I loved it for the following reasons, the scent was nice, the soap did not leave me feelings slippery without excessive scrubbing (like other brands, or some other water supplies when we travel), and the aloe version did not dry out my skin as aggressively as the original version did.We got down to our last two bars so I ordered another pack last month, and surprise! the packaging has changed, the name has changed from Irish Spring Aloe, to Irish Spring Aloe Mist. The bar is smaller its now got a Shamrock on the box, the boxes were all crushed (how?) The bars have shamrocks on them now as well, and the SMELL IS HORRENDUS. It's the most pungent chemical "clean" smell I can imagine, like snorting a searing line of fire right up your nose. My whole bathroom stinks of it, I stink of it and my cloths reek of it too.Majorly bad formula change, highly recommend any other bar of soap.**UPDATE**My wife said I taste like detergent... Take that how you will... but if you want to be single and abstinent forever this is the "cheap, clean" for you.Literally the only scenario where this plays out as a win for this soap is if head crabs descend from the sky and then try to latch on to the lonely sucker still using this stuff, and as it settles down before the mind control kicks in, it seizures and falls to the ground dead, because of the "aloe mist" detergenty taste. Then armed with several bars of crab-be-gone "aloe mist" you start your long journey across the globe attempting to free humanity from our new overlords, but because its you and this is your soap of choice, you don't actually do that. You just stay home, alone, with your new deceased crustacean friend.
