Boscoli FamilyItalian Olive Salad, 15.5 oz.

After working in a deli and falling in love with the olive mulaffa, I wanted some for home. Never could find anything that came close. Well finally found it in this!! Just a little pricey but heaven on my home sandwiches. Will get more when current supply runs out. Came double bubble wrapped and no leaks in jar.

I used to live in New Orleans and often had a Muffelletta sandwich at Central Grocery on Decatur Street in the French Quarter. This olive salad is the same taste as the one they use, but better as the original had pieces of olives, carrots, cauliflower and other veggies that are too large and one had to chop or cut them up a little. This Boscoli is just perfect and I buy six small jars at a time. You have to refrigerate the olive salad once you open the jar and the olive oil in it gets thick and hard if you do and you have to take some out to let it come to room temperature. I prefer to buy the small jars and use one up all at one sitting when friends come over. If you leave it out of the refrigerator, the olive oil will not stay fresh for more than 2-3 days. This is some VERY good stuff. You will not be disappointed! It also comes in larger size jars for use with more guests.

I like using this salad in my spinach salad. It is delicious. I have also used it on sandwiches and it is very nice. Although the salad seems expensive, you don’t use much per serving, so it lasts a long time. If you like olives, you will like this.

This "olive salad" is nothing but carrots and cauliflower in olive brine. There are barely any olives in this olive salad and the olives that are in the salad are cut up into small pieces. The brine tastes good. I was expecting this to have a lot of olives in it because it's called "olive salad". Olive lovers save your money.

Great product but the packaging was terrible. There was no filler inthe package so the jar was free to bounce around. Lid came loose (not off) allowing oil to escape to make a mess

I had the most amazing muffuletta in New Orleans and wanted to replicate it at home. The only thing that wasn’t the same was the bread. So good!! I will be purchasing again

Ordered 3 jars of this wonderful olive salad. Unfortunately, one jar was not sealed properly and oil leaked out, draining jar. I cannot use it, since not sealed for how long and supposed to refrigerate after opening. Jar may be broken, but I did not want to open wrapping, since it is covered with oil (as is box). Other 2 jars were great and I love this product on sandwiches and in my meatloaf. Wish could have contacted seller, but no option to request return/replacement and seller is "Buscoli Family"
