I love gelly roll pens imo they are one of the best on the market yes they are a little pricey but so worth it some of my pens I have had for years and they still work like they did when I originally bought them I was missing the moonlight pens and this set gives you almost all of them I think there is one more small pack of moonlights I need to buy to finish off this part of the collection but if I remember right you get 25 in this set so it costs about a dollar a pen not too bad I've seen them in the stores for much more and I love all the colors in this set grays and regular colors minus the glitter or metallics it's nice to have just basic colors I now only need the souffle set and I will have completed my gelly rolls if you want to invest in a good set of gel pens that last a long time and are very reliable I suggest you give gelly roll a try I love all the different sets and have lots of fun using them for my coloring especially mandala pattern types of pictures

The pens write wonderfully if you're a pen nerd. I love the way the ink shows up on dark paper; even the dark colors show even on black paper. But sometimes the pens are still full of ink and they just stop working. I tried every single tip and trick I could find online and then some, but once one stops, it's almost impossible to get it going again. The fluorescent colors seem to be especially prone to this. Fluorescent yellow died on me in less than two weeks. I generally store the pens tip down. One day maybe 6 months after I got them, they were accidentally stored tip up for maybe 6 hours and that took out the rest of the fluorescent pens. They all clearly have ink, but it's not budging out of the pen anymore. The other colors, some took a brief scribble to get going after being tip up for a little while, but the 4 fluorescents I had left are just dead. I've had the pens just over a year now and several are getting pretty close to empty and that seems to happen haphazardly as well. Within 3 weeks of receiving them, cool grey and sky blue were almost empty even though they hadn't been used any more than any other color. They're not empty yet, but only because I virtually stopped using them when I saw the ink so low. Once it gets down to less than ¼ full, I'll only use that color if I absolutely have to, which is rare. So the color and the quality of the ink are great, I just wish they all worked and the ink lasted a little longer.

The ink colors are lovely on both white and black paper. The ink flows smoothly which is a plus and the range of colors blend together beautifully. A great purchase!

I recently started using Gelly roll pens. I absolutely adore them. I never thought I would enjoy using any kind of pen for artwork. I ordered the 25 pack and only received 23. Unfortunately I was so excited when they arrived I ignored the packaging looked like it was previously opened and resealed. Impatience is one of my downfalls. I recommend anyone who purchases these to check and make sure everything is there. Normally I prefer the bold pens it took a little while to get used to using the find point in the future, I may order direct from Sakura Itself, there is no return option, and as I said, I started using them. The colors are not glossy, and there’s other people said you cannot go over the color once you fill in a space. If you’re gentle, metallic or sparkle will work for outlining. I have become addicted to this brand. I tried out others in the past and my interest was not sparked these pens cost quite a bit, so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the money but it is worth it. I only noticed because I am starting to collect all the sets available was organizing yesterday and noticed the count is off. If I wasn’t so OCD I’d say maybe I lost it, but they went straight into a special bin. If I wasn’t missing anything, I would absolutely say five stars for the product.

Normally I’m a micro finest tip pen girl. I order my pens international from Japan to get those nice precise clean lines with my writing. For the application I’m using my Gelly Roll pens for, this is not the case. For coloring books, I’d always preferred water based markers and colored pencils. Previously I’d adored Uniball Signo and Pentel Hybrid metallic and pastel gel pens for fun note taking, and I just could not foresee using gel pens for filling in coloring spaces, even fine ones, in any pleasing way. The ink would be too thick and streaky with a fine ballpoint to get a nice even look. Wanting to have a good neon pop, I bit the bullet in my first Gelly Roll pens of the Moonlight 10 set. It was a learning curve to control how liquidy they put down ink with such a broad point, but I learned, and immediately loved having the wet gel medium to work with to precisely “paint” my books with full opaque coverage. Wanting a better selection of pastel colors to add to the fluorescent set, I could only come across these new additions to the Moonlight collection, in the 06 fine tip. For precise freehand and intricate patterns, they’re great. If it weren’t for dry time, I’d even say for writing. My issue is that I can’t seem to get a good continuous flow of ink from the fine tip for broader application of filling in large spaces. It will start to skip, and will come out streaky even with a good amount of ink deposited. I’ve found that I can really appreciate these for making borders for larger spaces, then using the broad 10 size to fill in. The problem is that this still limits what colors I can use being that the pastels are only available in fine tip, this I can juggle them like this. Of course, the lighter pastel colors are also going to be the hardest to achieve the streak-free appearance with regardless, so the fine tip is a double whammy. I’m happy overall, my use is just rather limited is all. PLEASE Sakura, make a better selection of Moonlight soft pastels!

En mi caso no había ningún color repetido, 25 colores diferentes, hay 3 pares muy parecidos, pero antes de entrar en pánico observalos bien...Los colores son muy opacos por lo que resaltan muy bien sobre papel negro, que es lo que estaba buscando para mi Starry Night de STB (jounal).Estoy encantada :D!!! <3

Los bolígrafos Gelly Roll son una marca que garantiza buena calidad. Este paquete contiene la línea Moonlight completa más las nuevas Moonlight que en total son 25 bolígrafos la única faltante es la colo blanco. Son punto fino lo cual las hace más interesantes y da un acabado muy delicado y bonito. Las recomiendo en papel negro de gramaje alto y y superficie lisa para que luzca el color y brille más yo las uso con cardstock o sea cartulina de 176g/m que es papel que se usa comúnmente para scrapbook. El único detalle que no me gustó es que una pluma venía chorreada fuera de eso es un producto maravilloso. Cuidado al escribir ya que seca muy lento. Son colores vibrantes y muy suaves.

La tinta, a pesar de ser de gel, es opaca completamente, por lo que tiene muy buena cobertura aún en papel negro. La pigmentación también es muy buena.¡Me encantaron! Justo es el set que estaba buscando, pues la gama de colores es completa. Pensé que el hecho de que eran 06 y no 10 sería un problema para el uso que quería darles, pero no fue así, pues tanto la pigmentación como la fluidez de la tina permite usar estos bolis en superficies más grandes con total cobertura.Además, pude aprovechar la promo de Black Friday, así que las obtuve a muy buen precio y el envío fue en 24 horas hábiles, así que el servicio también estuvo genial¡Estoy muy contenta con mi compra! Los recomiendo totalmente.
