Amazon to the rescue! I went to Home Depot (where I bought my string lights) and the LED replacement bulbs cost more than a whole new string light kit. I should have checked Amazon first but happened to be at the store. I’m glad I did though because the 24 bulbs from HD would have cost me nearly $60 vs the $17.99 I paid for this set. They all arrived in good working condition and look great lit up. Only time will tell how well they hold up outdoors but they seem to be pretty solid. I have my string light hooked up to a HomeKit outdoor wifi outlet and on my iPhone, set the string lights to come on at dusk and turn off at dawn, which makes it seamless and cuts down on my power use.

The media could not be loaded. Clear plastic, not glass. They seem to hold up well and match my existing bulbs. Happy!

I have about 60 bulbs on one string light. The best part about these is they are low wattage. Only use up 60w of power. I love the color, a soft, warm light which everyone loves. I have them on all night 7 days a week and last about 1.5-2 years.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I spent a lot of time comparing these LED bulbs and brands and reading the reviews. I settled on this one after being convinced they are as good as everyone claims. I just received them and changed out my existing 10 watt bulbs that came on the Strand I got years ago and they look identical to the Amber glow and brightness of the original bulbs. I am SO glad I got the 1 watt bulbs. They are plenty bright and the 2 watt bulbs would have been too bright, use twice as much electricity and I read only last 7 to 8 months with regular use. These 1 watt bulbs should last 3 - 4 years and produce the perfect amount of light! I also read some of the cheaper brands have kind of hazy cheap looking plastic bulbs, these are crystal clear like glass. Extremely pleased. I will never have to crawl up on a ladder in a panic and take down my strands of lights that span over my pool again when there are hail storms coming our way. These are Unbreakable

Bought these to replace halogen bulbs that kept blowing. I like the look of the halogen and wanted the warm color to look like standard halogen bulbs. When they first arrived I changed just one to see what it would it look like. Of course being LED the element on the inside looked a little different but did not look odd, it actually looked similar to some of the Edison style bulbs available. Cut them on that night and could not tell which one was LED and which ones were halogen. ***NOTE*** I can not hear it but my fiancee can here a sound coming from the bulbs. My understanding is that it is a high pitch frequency. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I also had a guest say they could hear the noise as well when the lights were on which proved to me that it was not just something she was imagining. It is not bad and if there is any other noise around she doesn't notice it. However she has stated that if we used the bulbs somewhere we would be around them all the time she would have problems with it.

I bought these to replace the 2w bulbs in my 100’ string lights (50 bulbs) because they were too bright. These bulbs arrived in good condition. They look just like glass bulbs... Nice. The brightness of the bulbs is perfect. The color/temperature of the bulbs is consistent (they all match when lit) which is a big deal to me. VERY satisfied.Follow up: It’s coming up on 3 years since buying these bulbs. During that time they’ve been subjected to extreme TX weather (from blistering heat to severe wind/rain/hail storms) and they are still going strong. I haven’t had to replace a single bulb yet. I just cleaned them (outdoor party lights can get pretty dirty) and they look brand new again. I’m impressed.

I purchased these bulbs for a lamp that we keep in a hallway between a guest bedroom and the guest bathroom. The area is in a loft, and we could not find an LED bulb that was dim enough for our purposes. Although we had to purchase an entire box of these, these bulbs are perfect for providing energy-efficient, low-level lighting. I am glad to have the entire box as these are perfect for accent lighting in other rooms and on the patio.
