Easy to Assemble, Well Made, Beautiful
The Thermo Tike exceeded my expectations! For one thing, I don't remember the last time I assembled a product that was so well thought out. The pictures were easy to follow. I did not try to read any of the directions. The screws actually fit in the locations specified without having to bend or force pieces into position. If you just took time to carefully look at the pictures before putting one on the heater, you could not go wrong. All of the posts were identical, so you did not have to worry about making sure you had the right one in the right place. The extensions fit perfectly, with strong tabs holding them so that the screw holes lined up correctly. Remember, you can tilt the unit to reach the taller pieces to assemble them. You can also tilt it to attach the top cover. I was impressed with the solid feel of the upright pieces. The only piece at this point that requires special care is the burner assembly. Look carefully at the illustration and be sure to point the controls in the correct direction. Peel the protective cover before installing. Once that is done, the rest pretty much falls into place. The covers for the bottom are interchangable on the sides and back. The front cover is easy to identify as it is clearly different from the rest, with the hole for the knob. The front cover easily comes off for placement of the LPG tank. A chain holds the front cover in place if you need to just open it to check the tank. The glass tube goes easily into place. I looked all over for the silicone ring that goes on the glass tube and could not find it. However, when I removed the actual tube from its wrapper, the silicone ring was right there, pushed inside the tube. The ring fit the tube exactly with no fussing around to get it on. The tube then slid easily into position. The side grids hook over retainers at the top and sides. Just snap them into place and secure them with the screws. You are done! The most difficult part of the entire job was peeling the protective plastic off the shiny surfaces. Don't forget to do that as you unpack the pieces for assembly. The peeling process takes a little patience. After you finish assembly and install the battery and full LPG tank, the unit fires up immediately when you follow the lighting directions, and makes a beautiful, flaming column which radiates quite a bit of heat.

Game changer on our patio!
We loved the design of this patio heater and gave it a try. I have to say that I was really impressed by the product quality and the general appearance. This thing is big! It is just like the commercial ones you see sometimes at Bars, Restaurants or Hotels. Assembly instructions were very clear and it took me about 30 minutes to assemble it. Heat output is fantastic as well. We are very happy with this purchase and may add another one.

Looks great. Doesn’t put out as much heat as the cheaper heaters.
I was disappointed to find that the bottom of the base had bubbling paint with rust, straight out of the box. This heater is impressive to look at, but does not heat as well as the cheaper, non-exposed flame heaters.

Defective Parts & Poor Customer Service Mix Wholesale
I purchased in 2017 so, in fairness, the heater is out of warranty. I've used less than 3 tanks of propane and kept the heater covered when not in use but the unit has stopped working properly. The pilot won't stay lit. The company says I need a control box for $80. Interesting that they know exactly what I need, like they know it was a defective part. Hmmm??? Update- reading other reviews, it is obvious that the pilot parts are a problem. On the bright side, the parts are available for less than $20. Mix Wholesale wants $80. This is a small complaint but the 3 studs and wing nuts at the top of the heater are not stainless so, with everything else looking ok, there are 3 giant rusty bolt at the top of the heater.

Over 6 Years Still Works Like New! 2017-2024 Always stored outside not covered! Great heater!!!
Great heater! Bought this heater on Amazon, Nov 21, 2017, and it has worked flawlessly every since. I keep it outside, not under a covering, and it still starts and ruins like new. Cleaning: Just one time about two years ago, I had to blow the cob webs and debris out of the heater mechanism with compressed air and change the igniter battery. Pro tip: Use loc-tite during assembly! Starting: Turn on gas, and wait a bit, then move knob to pilot and push in. Then hit ignition button just once or twice till the pilot is on, (You can turn the know while pressed a bit either way till pilot starts) keep knob pressed till the pilot light stays on, make take a few times, but once lit, turn up knob. Been working like that for the past 6 years even though stored outside!

Tower Propane Heater
The media could not be loaded. After not being impressed with local options, chose this model. Arrived in window given. Looked like a project to assemble ..... go slow and pay attention to instructions. Under 2 hrs to assemble. Quite pleased with outcome. Lit, looks beautiful. Take a bit to heat up. When sitting down around it, legs/feet stay cold. Have since seen other brands that are gravity fed and fire is in the base, but are also 4 to 5 times the price. Guests were quite happy with it.

Poor packaging
Packaged terribly. The first time it came it was completely destroyed. Second time it was only mildly damaged. Goes together easily and has good instructions. Wheels are too small to be functional on any but the smoothest surfaces. Glass tube falls out of place easily while rolling across deck boards. Puts off a small amount of heat but looks cool. Overall a decent product for the price but could use a few tweaks and a lot better packaging.

Beautiful flame.
Very nice heater. The flame makes for a cozy ambiance and emits plenty of light for night time outdoors. I'd say it gives off around 70% of the heat of a conventional free standing heater, but the effect of the light from the flame makes it worth it in my opinion. The electronic ignition is a nice feature. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took about 45 minutes to assemble. I added some thread lock to the screws to stop them from shaking loose while wheeling it over the patio. I found that if you sit the propane tank on the shelf during assembly it helps to level the legs while you tighten the screws.I chose this heater over some other models because it has the quartz tube which holds up to the elements better than regular glass. Overall it's a quality product and looks great when its lit and a classy / modern look when turned off.
