The show that started it all goes out on an EPIC high!
I shudder to think what the landscape of DC Superhero Television would be like today if Arrow hadn't been as good as it was. The entire Arrowverse owes everything to the success of Arrow: Season 1. If it hadn't have worked...no Flash, no Supergirl, no Legends of Tomorrow, no Crisis on Infinite Earths...it's amazing.Although the show hit rock bottom more than once with Seasons 3, 4 and 6 (ESPECIALLY Season 4), the good definitely outweighed the bad in Arrow; with Seasons 1, 2 & 5 (ESPECIALLY Season. 2) proving to be absolutely epic. When Arrow was at its best, it was one of the most utterly enthralling and amazing TV shows (not just superhero shows!) ever produced. But the crucial thing was when it was announced that Season 8 would be Arrow's final season...could it nail the landing and cement Arrow's legacy?Thankfully, Season 8 does just that. With Oliver Queen (and Stephen Amell) going out in a blaze of glory. These final 10 episodes pay perfect tribute to Oliver's journey; his family, his friends, his victories & defeats and the Arrowverse as a whole. and they do an exemplary job of wrapping up the story of the Green Arrow. After everything Oliver Queen has endured - from his five-year-exile to his eight-year-stint as the Hood/Arrow/Green Arrow - Oliver now finds himself summoned by the Monitor to repay a debt. Leaving his family & team behind to safeguard the Multiverse from the impending Crisis, Oliver Queen is faced with the prospects of sacrificing his life to protect all he loves from oblivion. Although the prospects maybe grim, Season 8 proves to be a fitting, dramatic and emotional swansong with Stephen Amell and the entire cast giving the performances of their lives. And for longtime fans of the show, your loyalty WILL be rewarded.A batch of deleted scenes, a fantastic "Arrow: Hitting The Bullseye" featurette and the Best of DC TV's Comic Con Panels (from San Diego 2019) are nice extras. And whilst the show's first two seasons will always be the crown jewel, Arrow: Season 8 is nevertheless an epic celebration of all the greatness the show gave us. And no higher-note for Arrow to go out on. Absolutely essential! Thank you, Stephen Amell and all involved...for everything!

Quality series but slightly disappointing story arc.
Having watched all other seasons of Arrow, I was slightly disappointed with this final season. Although the acting and action are up to the high standard of the other seasons, I didn't really like the arc of the storyline at in the future. If you don't watch the other programmes in the series i.e The Flash etc, then you miss what happens when the stories fuse as you only get the episode that was originally aired as Arrow and you don't know what's really going on.

Gerat series
I have never been able to follow the multiverses easily, and this series was no different. But as you go through the episodes it became more clearer. It was a great ending for a truly terrific series and left no open ends. The extras were great to watch and reminded you of all the adventures they went through. I am pleased I got this final series to finish off my collection.

No slip case
Comes in a standard blu ray case and does not include the up case so if you are a collector it may not match the rest of the series.Amazon are aware of this but obviously it's far too complicated to change the photos or listing
