I've become fond of taking this everyday. I have severe anxiety and I am on several medications for it. I checked and could not find any legit interactions. Despite this, I take it several hours after the meds. I have had pretty interesting experiences with it.First of all, it tastes nasty. I thought it was going to taste like molasses or like a maple syrup since I found it slightly smelled like either. Nope. I have to add it in to some flavoured water and stir it up to drink it. It makes it no so bad. It is very thick like molasses though and quite messy at times and the thickness makes it a little hard to spoon out the right amount.So on to experiences. Each day was different. One day I would take it and feel so relaxed that I would want to sleep. Some days I'd take it and have more energy and motivation. Each time I did take it though, I did have more clarity and focus. I am suspected to have ADD and noticed a big difference when I started taking it. I do feel a lot less stress, but I also have been meditating more. When I did start taking it, I noticed that I did feel nauseated after consumption, especially when it was taken in warm water.The confusing thing about this product is knowing what this product actually is. It says red ginseng but when I look it up online it says that is Korean and not to be confused with American ginseng. I assume it is just American ginseng since that is what the packaging states. Not sure why red is in the title.The price to me seems really steep. You do get quite a bit of servings in it though with the little spoon and it is thick like molasses rather than a tincture. Taking it one time a day would last quite a bit. I find it hard to judge the price because I am waiting for more long term effects to justify it. Right now it does help a lot with stress through.

This red ginseng extract has greatly improved my quality of life. I suffer from chronic fatigue, but when I use this extract I get an amazing boost of physical and mental energy.It’s simple to use, I just use the spoon that came in the box to measure out a very small dose and take it straight. The flavor is super strong and not that good, but completely acceptable considering how well it works. The favor can be masked by mixing it into drinks. It takes me roughly 30 minutes to feel any effects, and then I slowly start to speed up, both mentally and psychically. It makes my days more productive, and at night I can sleep better.I am completely sold on it and will continue to use it. It’s a great product that works exactly as described.

I'm a first time ginseng user, so I don't have prior experience to compare this particular product against others and I wanted to take it for some time before passing judgment on it in general. Now that I've been using it three times daily by adding it to hot water and drinking it like a tea I think I have a pretty good idea about what it does for me and overall I think it has made a noticeable difference in my energy levels throughout the day and even seem to be getting better, deeper sleep than usual.At the risk of too much information, when I first started taking it, the day after I did have some mild diarrhea which quickly passed and I was back to normal the day after and every day since. It is also definitely an acquired taste, at first I thought it tasted absolutely terrible but now I actually look forward to drinking it and I don't add anything to the water but the ginseng. It comes out of the bottle like a very thick almost tar like substance but it dissolves completely into hot water in no time. It comes with a tiny little, high quality spoon that doles out a single serving of the stuff which is super helpful.This is definitely not inexpensive stuff. That being said, I did some research and found that you have to be particularly careful about where you get your ginseng from because it is a high value supplement there is a lot of fake stuff, or stuff that has been cut with other things that they hope you never notice. I love the fact that GinEx is clear about sourcing all of their ginseng locally from Ontario and it's all made completely here and not overseas. I feel good about taking it, trusting that I'm taking exactly what I expect and I personally think it's completely worth paying a bit more for this kind of peace of mind getting it from a reputable, local, company and not an unknown overseas entity. While it does seem expensive at first, you get a lot of doses out of the relatively small bottles.I now plan on taking GinEx over the long term and I think you could do far worse than GinEx if you already take ginseng and are looking for another brand or are interested in starting to use it.
