ProKit Aneroid Sphygmomanometer with Dual-Head Scope, Adult, Purple, (02-12711)

I really don't understand the poor reviews this kit has gotten. I bought this kit last year for my CNA class and now use it for my LPN classes. I've never had a problem hearing heartbeats or respirations with the stethoscope. The cuff works great, too. Both are far superior in quality to the ones sold in the school's bookstore and most of the ones sold in the uniform shops. Other students and my instructors have used both items and never commented on the quality of their performance, material, or quality.It's held up well under countless uses in the hands of amateurs and unhappy patients. As I said, I've had it for a year now and it still looks as nice as when I got it out of the box. The bag has suffered minor wear and tear, but I use it like a small purse for my penlight, bandage scissors, lotion, pens, and other little odds and ends.This might not be your forever-and-ever-amen stethoscope and cuff, but it's not the waste of money others have made it out to be. I've recommended it to several of my fellow nursing students who felt ripped off by the poor quality kits they got elsewhere. If you can't afford a $150 kit, but are hesitant to spend a mere $17 on something you'll be using for the next 2+ years, then this is the kit for you.

This is the coolest stethoscope kit i have ever had. I do home health and the kids love it. Well, even us older folks do also. It works perfect and the handy bag to put it all in is great. What a great deal on price also. Thanks

I would recommend this to anyone needing to take vital signs on another person. Works very well and it was very affordable.

The cuff and bulb functioned well enough, but no heartbeat could be heard through the stethoscope.I had several people try it, including a nurse, and none of them could hear a heartbeat.This item isn't returnable, so you'll be out the money if you get a defective item.

I like the kit, it is accurate and of course love the color. The color of the kit keeps others from confusing my stuff with theirs. The only thing I wish the cuff had was a metal loop to pull the cuff end through to keep it on the arm easier while it is tightened.

It does the job but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. I'm a nurse that works in a rehabilitation center and I take blood pressures a lot but this one is hard to break in. It's tough to pump up and I thought it was because it was new but I've had it since October of 2016 and use it at least 5 times a week at the least but I still love it and the color

Stethoscope broke easily so it was useless after a week of use. please invest in another model otherwise you'll just have to buy a new one sooner then later
