Movie Maniacs 4: Freddy Krueger A Nightmare On Elm Street Action Figure

My son loves Freddy Kruger and it appears that this figurine makes his collection complete. Very detailed and comes with the movie poster.- he sits nicely on the shelf with Michael Meyers and Jason Vooreehs

It's been some years since McFarlane's Movie Maniacs Series 4 : Freddy Krueger has been released. 9 years to be exact. In my opinion, it is STILL THE BEST looking sculpted version of him to this date! (Mezco Toyz has come close.), I want to also point out that it is the only version that has its sweater done correctly because there are no stripes on the sleeves. The face is spot on and his stance has Robert England written all over it! The glove is sculpted beautifully accurate, too! True, the figurine itself doesn't have much movement but I'm not worried about that because I will never take it out of the package. This Freddy only comes with the usual Movie Maniacs base and a removable hat. As far as I'm concerned, that's all he needs. All you 'Nightmare on Elm Street' fans or just horror/toy fans in general, better grad this bad boy quick because this figurine continues to go up in price! Thank you Todd McFarlane for having another go at Freddy because the first one was not at all as good as this one. - Cheers!

Wow!, this figure is amazing! When I saw it, I knew I had to buy it. Not only does this come with the figure itself, but it comes with a little stand with the movie poster of "Nightmare On Elm Street". To begin with, the entire Freddy figure has blood all over him. He has blood on his shirt, pants, and his boots. Freddy also comes with the "butter knifes". The problem with those is that they are not very durable. The knifes can fall off. Freddy also comes with his trademark hat (which also has blood). When you take off Freddy's hat, it looks distgusting (I would not recommend you taking it off). Parts such as his head and hand are very detailed with burns and stuff like that. Excellent figure, and should be an instant buy for any horror fan or fan of Freddy.

THIS VERSION OF THE SEVERELY BURNED TORMENTER OF TEENS IS A FAR CRY FROM THE MOVIE MANIACS1 FIGURE. IT WAS ONE OF THOSE TOYS THAT YOU WERE JUST GLAD TO SEE MADE AFTER A LONG WAIT WITH OBVIOUS REASONS WHY.(HE MURDERS TEENS) BUT AFTER 7 FILMS, THREE OF THEM BEING JUST PLAIN GOOFY, HE HAS BECOME AN ICON OF A DECADE THAT HAS BEEN VERY DEAR TO ME. SO, TWO TIMES THE CHARM IN MOVIE MANIACS 4 WERE TODD HAS GONE BACK AND RE-DONE MY PERSONAL FAVORITES TO MAKE ME, THE AVERAGE JOE FEEL SPECIAL. AND THAT IS WHAT TOYS ARE ABOUT.

This is the 4th Freddy that McFarlane has done, but it's one of the best thus far. Come on, it's worth it for the mock-up one-sheet poster alone, check that puppy out, you couldn't get away with that type of poster in today's PC world! Anyway, Freddy has a removeable hat, which is new. He's cool looking and he has knife fingers. That equals 80's nostalgia fun, so it's worth it just on a campy relive your youth level.
