Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace Jewelry - Rose Gold - Hypo-Allergenic 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel Locket Pendant Necklace! Includes 3 Washable Pads

I got this necklace a few days ago, and I've been wearing it each day since.I've always loved aromatherapy. The scents of Lavender, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, Rose, Tea Tree... and so very many others can completely change your mood for the better, or in some cases treat physical maladies. For years now, I've used them in house-cleaning, baths, dabbed on my temples or wrists, mixed into a carrier oil to be applied to the skin or even in medicinal ways.In some ways, I've not been without essential oils for a long time now, but I've waxed and waned my interests in adding additional uses. It was recently that I got a bunch of fresh oils (they last so long!) in favorite, as well as new scents and blends, along with a diffuser. As an aside, NOW has a fantastic diffuser which I will be reviewing after this product. This diffuser is fantastic for many reasons, one being that when set on "intermittent", it emits your favorite oil or blend for many hours... I've had it last much more than 8 hours! Having filled it before bed and had it running for many hours after I've woken the next day!Anyhow, while the new oils and the NOW diffuser renewed my love of aromatherapy, I had seen these aroma lockets and been intrigued. There are quite a lot of them on Amazon and so I did some research before finally selecting the Fine Line Living lockets to try. I don't know what the others are like in person, but I loved my locket so much that - even though I was sent the wrong color by Amazon initially - when the replacement came I ended up keeping the silver, too, to give as a gift! Here is why I like these particular lockets:1. They are stainless steel - which is hypoallergenic. I am very sensitive to nickel and potentially other base metals. I turn green, I get irritated skin and if used in an earring my lobes will painfully swell, turn red and ooze. YUCK! Sorry for the TMI, but this is why I value a good sterling, gold or stainless product because it doesn't irritate my body and that is concern-o numero uno in my book!2. They are a perfect size - about as big as a quarter. So they are sizable enough to show but not to be super heavy and clunky or potentially gaudy.3. The quality is superb! The design is gorgeous and both looks and feels durable and well-crafted. The metal floral design is pretty but not "delicate" in the way that it looks like it will bend, snap or break in any way. It's firm as nails to the touch (or even a decided, testing press)! Time will tell with the hinge and necklace attachment, but it looks and feels great so far. And though the "prettiness" of the pattern of the design is subjective - I really like this slightly stylized, geometric floral pattern - and it is VERY lovely in Rose Gold, though quite pretty in the sharp-looking silvery stainless steel, too.4. The magnetic closure is secure. This won't pop open unless it breaks and it - as stated above - seems sturdy and very unlikely to do so. It's a tad difficult to open, actually. So, I recommend firmly holding the necklace loop attachment at the top of the locket between thumb and pointer finger, then using a sturdy nail on the other hand to lever open the locket at the indention point. It should pop open under such pressure, *relatively* easily. Now, I find this security of the closure to be a good thing - so you don't lose a pad and soil your clothing or furniture with an oily pad! - but for some it could be annoying. You should be aware of it, for certain, as it could pose a challenge for non-dexterous folks, people with arthritis, kids, people with no fingernails to lever the lid, etc.5. This is a fantastic mechanism for wearing lovely essential oils without having to dilute them with carrier oils or deal with them fading away so quickly as they often do on skin. This long-wearing is part a function of the locket as a carrier/diffuser because the inorganic pads don't require dilution and the locket doesn't cause any reaction which may wear away the scent as some drops on the wrist might do. You don't wash your locket over and over all day, for example, as you would your hands and wrists!NOTE: I still highly recommend good oils. Everyone has their favorites, and your tastes may differ from mine, but I've had nothing but luck with "NOW Foods" and "Aura Cacia" essential oils. They both carry high quality stuff. They carry many scents, some blends and some of the pre-diluted oils as well. For me, I've used them since I worked at a health food store which carried them and began to play with the variety of fragrances I could make. I've never had any that were "bad" or "went bad" -- with the exception of the carrier oils eventually going rancid (as they do!) over time when I didn't finish a bottle before its expiration date. But for the record the oils should never smell rancid or off when you get them. That is likely NOT the manufacturer's error, but instead the error of the seller in mishandling/mis-storing or just selling you grody, old goods. Essential oils should last a long while when stored in cool/dark places, well-sealed between uses, but they aren't made to last forever and aren't made to be left in a hot/sunny place. Bad oils should be promptly returned to the seller if you have the misfortune of getting them, and you should be sent fresh, and if you don't you should review the SELLER and not the product itself as being bad. My two and a half cents! :-)So, as for my experiences with this brand and item - I was indeed sent the silver one by accident. The seller promptly contacted me about the problem only shortly after I had noticed the issue. I went to return the silver, got the rose gold in the mail and liked them both so well (especially after using my golden one!) that I cancelled the return and kept the silver to gift to my aunt for the holiday!I've worn my rose gold locket for a few days now, mostly with  Aura Cacia Essential Solutions Panic Button 0.50 oz  or with a couple dots of  NOW Foods, Rose Absolute, 5% oil blend, 1 Ounce  (which is a light diluted rose blend, but which smells good when mixed with the Panic Button, to me at least!). The smell is initially quite strong. Not bad, but strong! Sensitive shnooted persons should be aware of how they feel of a dot of pure oils so close to their sniffer. No one else mentioned finding it offensive in any way, instead just saying "Oh, that smells lovely and relaxing!", if anything, but the appreciation of scent is subjective. So, this can be strong and then it does fade a spot, but still ends up lasting for days without a touch-up, where you will not smell it so much as constantly catch a pleasing whiff and suddenly remember you have your own personal, perfect aromatherapy bubble!One funny thing, sorry if it is a little TMI!, but we were visiting family who have a sweet but older and... somewhat gassy... Labrador! I was seated in an unfortunate area, but I didn't want to make them dethrone the elderly pooch from his cozy spot, so I would tuck my nose into the cowl of my hooded sweatshirt and breathe my lovely aromatic locket for a 30 seconds or so, and then "when the smoke cleared" all would be fine for me to come out of hiding. It worked wonders and I imagine this could be a useful method of enduring other stinky (or emotionally difficult?) moments! :-)This product is highly recommended. It would make a lovely item for you, or for a gift to someone who loves essential oils, most certainly! I love mine and would like to get a rose gold bracelet by the same brand. I am hoping they read this and make one! :-) or I suppose I could get another necklace, modify the chain and go from there, but I would love one with two loops to be suspended like a watch face on a chain "strap". I am also hoping to find some appropriately sized pads in other colors. I prefer the black to the white but would love to see some deep colors like burgundy, deep purple, midnight blue, emerald, a deep brown? I saw another manufacturer with a selection of pretty and deep colors (that I think offset the design particularly well compared to light colors) and may try them out, too. But this locket is the one I like - particularly as it is ROSE gold and stainless steel. Fine Line Living is the only brand to carry this combo and I adore mine!Please note: I have attached a couple images of the rose gold locket. Mostly this shows size, more than anything, as I am afraid I have yet to "capture" the rosy tone of the beautiful rose gold in any of my images of this type of metal jewelry. I need a better camera! And maybe some black clothes? Or to get a photo editing software and take the time to do it, but... for now these are what you get! I was excited for this diffuser and it is very pretty! It is about the size of a nickel, or a little bigger. I did have to get a new chain, because I felt like the one that came with it was not as high quality as I would have liked (why I took a star). It shipped extremely quick (a day early) and the pads it came with are nice and thick and can hold at least 5-8 drops of oil without over flowing! I enjoy getting whiffs of it as I move. It is very sturdy and the magnet is very sturdy (to hold the hinge shut).It is a beautiful necklace and I wear it everyday!

I got this necklace in the plated rose gold. It is stunning! Just the right length, and I love the compartment that opens to place essential oils inside. 3 small felt-like pads are included. The necklace is not heavy at all, and very elegant. For me, this is the perfect way to use essential oils, especially if you'd like to inhale the aroma during the day, or if your skin is sensitive to the oils. This is perfect in every way! Top notch customer service - right before it arrived, I got an email from Heidi in their customer service, making sure it arrived, as well as encouraging me to contact them right away for any reason. They rock!

It is a very beautiful necklace but I ordered in rose gold and was sent a silver piece.

I LOVE the quality of this necklace! It latches VERY securely and it holds the essential oils without leakage (and the oils don't tarnish the outside either)... The felt discs that came with it only hold the scent 1-2 days, so I purchased the leather discs (also from AMAZON) and they hold the scent for a week! The leather discs need to be trimmed though... I know you will enjoy this product too. I am wearing mine while writing this and had to take a whiff to bring a smile to my face :)

I was disappointed when I opened the box and it was more of a gold than rose gold. I would of bought the silver if I knew that. I even contacted customer service before I bought it to verify that it was gold rose because the other pictures looked gold to me too so I wanted to make sure. It's also very hard to open, which is a good thing and a bad thing. Also, the chain it comes with its way too chunky for my liking, which makes it heavy so I switched it with a finer chain. I do like the design of it. It's simple and not too big, which is what I was looking for. It comes with 3 felt pads that I can change out with each other. Based on which oil I put it the scent last a couple days before i need to add more oil. I had really high hopes for this necklace based on the other reviews but I am disappointed in it because it's not rose gold but I still wear it everyday only because it's the only one I own.

I have had such a nightmare with this necklace. The locket is closed sooo tight when i tried to get it open it cut my nail side ways to the flesh. Its in my jewelry box. Don't want to experience that pain again. :(

I have ordered several diffuser necklaces from different distributors and I have to say that this necklace was the nicest I have received. It is of good quality with sturdy hinge and the rose gold looks rose gold and not a cheap imitation. I am very pleased with this product and with the follow up I have received making sure I am satisfied. I will be buying more as gifts because I am a firm believer of essential oils and what greater way to enjoy than to wear it! Thank you!!!
