Good rugged fence posts. Used for property markers. Did not bend when smashed into the ground with a 4 LB hammer. Would recomend.

i needed a replacement post for one that our neighbor accidentally ran over with his tractor. the post looked pretty much the same as our other ones. it arrived quickly and looked and felt no different, just as expected. i would recommend this to anyone needing new or replacement posts.

If purchasing this product take the "Light Duty" description seriously. I tried using a manual fence post pounder to put two of these into fairly soft ground and bent the top of both of them just trying to get them into the ground far enough so that the two "wings" on lower portion were in the ground.

very disappointed in the product, slight wind posts bend very fragile cannot believe it came from a horse farm! also the rubber fence very weak

From experience I know that 'all fence posts are not created equal'. While this one is billed as 'light duty' it is just the thing for enclosing a back yard chicken run or a garden plot. It is rigid and sturdy enough for serious driving with a heavy hammer and the flange about six inches up from the bottom sets each stake firmly in most soils. Gardeners who are trying to discourage rabbits, woodchucks and pets will find these posts are strong enough not to bend and tall enough to keep neighborhood dogs at bay. At intervals along each post pop-out notches allow for sliding fence mesh material into the post and cut-out circles here and there allow for wiring fencing to the posts. Each post is well-finished with enamel and I have had them last for ten years and more in year-round use.TIP: Use taller posts of similar design and chicken wire with the smallest openings to discourage squirrels. I have found squirrels where I used to garden would not climb the uncomfortably thin wire

Bought this in association with the Tree Sprout Support - Tree Mate O Support System to hold up a Cherry Kwanzen tree that was leaning. Works great, when putting this post in the ground I would suggest using a rubber mallet or a block of wood on top so as not to break the paint and potentially rust.

The wind literally broke these in half

I had to put a barrier around a construction project for the winter. I used these posts with an orange snow fence cable tied to them and it is working great. Next year I can use them to put a real snow fence along my driveway to keep some snow off it.

Seriously, don’t use this post for snow fence! Installed it and the next morning after a bit of wind all my posts were bend. So extremely weak! You can just bend the posts with your bare hands. First time I’m unsatisfied with an amazon purchase and in this case I definitely want people to know the quality of this item....poor!
