WipeOut: The Game

My kids love this game so much. Arrived fast and had a little note inside offering assistance if needed. No complaints and good price, too!

After reading all the posts online about this game, I didn't expect much. I was pleased when it arrived. Yes, the controls are basic. WHO CARES! I bought this game for the sheer stupidity of it and it did not disappoint! My son and I were laughing uncontrollably while we played it. It think all those people who bash this game are just full of themselves and need to get a life and not take GAMES so seriously. For the casual gamer like me, this game is perfect. Yes, the audio get repetitive. So what!?! I enjoy the show for the wipeouts and the game provides just as much fun as far as I am concerned. I really enjoy shooting the balls at the other players to cause a wipeout when they are not expecting it! "Unclaimed Baggage" is my favorite game.

My family of 4 has laughed till we cried playing this tonight, We definitely got our money worth out of this hilarious game in one night, the past 2 hours has been non stop laughter, this game is so funny and so much enjoyable good family times. Thank You , its out favorite game to play now

My kids (11 and 7) always play Wipeout at their friend's house and come home talking about how fun it is. Finally got the game for ourselves and it's super fun!! Just like the tv show, the commentators make cheesy remarks while you go through the course. It's fun to play when it's your turn to tackle the obstacles and when you're waiting for your turn you get to shoot balls at your opponent to knock them off. You know how you yell "Ohhh!!" at the tv when someone falls and smashes their face on part of the obstacle? You'll be doing the same thing when you play the game. Super fun for everyone! My husband was cracking up at his own fails!

I am unable to play this, myself, right now, as I am injured, but it's still a lot of fun watching my kids play it, much like watching the tv show, with the hosts commenting, etc. Even my 6 year-old son is able to enjoy playing it on the 'Easy' setting....if you like the tv show, you'll like the game. Even if you've not seen the tv show, it's fun. You can play up to 4 people, but are limited by the # of controller sets you have. We only have 2 nunchuks, so we're thinking about getting more just to be able to max out the multiplayer :)

Great family game for both kids and adults. Easy to play but hard to master, but that is the fun of this game. Most games are not fun unless you are good at them and succeed; whereas this game makes a game of your failing to make it across or through the obstacles. This game presents a great way to teach kids that you can get knocked down and still have fun. Ironically, the adults who play this game get more frustrated than the kids (10 and under). Probably has to do with the facts that the younger kids are better at it. Need I say more...

I wasn't sure whether or not to buy this game, but when I saw in the product description "bonus balance board functionality" that made my decision easy. I love the wii fit plus (loved the original too) so I thought how great to have a game like Wipeout. It would be like an even better "obstacle course" from the fit plus which is one of my favorite additions. Wrong. It does not seem to use the balance board at all. Why is it listed that way? I feel ripped off. The game is moderately amusing. Don't think I'll spend a lot of time playing it. I like to use my wii to be active, not to sit on my butt. Except for Mario I guess. Anyway, the controls aren't great and you have to sit through intoductions and then start up every round for the other players. You can only skip once they start playing. I like that you can throw balls at the other players but that's about the only amusing part of waiting through three computerized contestants. All in all I feel like you spend more time watching than playing. Not really what I was looking for. For kids or diehard fans might be ok but otherwise don't bother.

I bought this for my 7 year old's birthday because I was trying to fill in the blank with one more thing for him to open. It is such a hit. I have never played it or even watched it played but the laughs I hear coming from the game room are worth every penny! My 11 year old son also brings his friends over to play and I was shocked when my 13 year old daughter and her friends, normally too cool for video games, were playing and swearing they were going to pee their pants they laughed so hard.
