This is a gorgeous book. Almost too pretty to color. The pages are thick and marker doesn’t bleed through.

Every page is beautiful with lots of detail and realistic images -- this is definitely a coloring book for adults.Pros: Gorgeous images -- many two-page spreads Lots of drawings Detailed images Almost every image filled with kimono patterns (not doodles)Cons: Paper is somewhat thin, bleed-through is an issue Two-sided imagery throughout book Colored pencil only, possibly gel pen (with care) No heavy layering with wax or oil pencils paper too easy to burnish Need to use heavy sheet behind your work if you're heavy-handedI was able to produce wonderful results despite the cons.

Love, love, love this book. Had it pre-ordered for a while. Love all her books. Beautiful Japanese intricate designs and pictures. Thick, thick quality paper. You won’t be disappointed 😃
