Life Saving Tourniquet everyone should have.
I ordered this product to complete my personal ditch bag. I am happy with the two tourniquets and the included pictured instruction sheet that would allow anyone, even a novice, to apply when needed. I was pleasantly surprised they threw in a Molle system compatible tourniquet pouch.

Not name brand, but great when needed.
I would not use these after practicing with them, but they are cheap enough to buy extra to train and equip your bag. As far as emergency use, I have used one. No difference between this and the $30 version. A two pack gives you both worlds, training and practical use.

Good, but not great
My only gripe about these CAT tourniquets like many others is that the windlass rods are made from a questionable polymer and not aluminum or steel. If they had metal windlass rods then they'd be perfect. A lot of guys complain that they aren't genuine North American Rescue tourniquets and while I understand their concern, I don't believe anyone will have issues with the performance of these tourniquets. Just make sure you stage the tourniquet properly so that it's ready for use when you need to deploy it under stress.

These are not CAT brand Tourniquets
These are imitations of the CAT branded tourniquets. See the photos of these vs certified combat applicator tourniquets. The quality is OK. Form is the same as CAT brand but the plastic components on the certified CAT feel sturdier. In the brief testing they tighten down the same as the CAT tourniquets. I don’t know that they will last as long if put to repeated hard use. I’ll be keeping them as backup or perhaps as training tourniquets but I would recommend keeping a CAT certified as your primary.

Good For Home Use
I bought these to add to a trauma kit for motorcycle riding. Easy to use and decent quality of materials. Not as good as name brand or high grade CATs but good enough for a home kit.

Used and worked
Unfortunately I did have to use this, poor guy was ODing while he had rotten legs and a vein broke in his leg so before ems arrived I but this on his leg and the thing held up pretty well, the bleed was a pretty big artery bleed so I had to tighten the thing pretty tight and almost bent the windless. Right before it bent beyond repair the bleed stoped

Works perfect
Have not had to use yet but bought in case of emergency - one in truck, one on bag and ready at all times.

An extra tool
Not as durable as my other one which surprised me. But it’ll do the job in an emergency

Seem legit
I haven’t needed to use these, hope I don’t but they are very similar to the ones a paramedic Have.
