Bose Solo 5 TV Sound System - Black

Lovely sound bar, sounded tinny to start but after turning TV volume off its great.

The only function that I am disappointed with is there is not a HDMI(arc) input on this top quality soundbar,it only has coaxial/ optic/ aux,otherwise this Solo 5 from Bose is the business,the sound quality is 100% and very clear even on max volume!

Excellent sound as our tv sound was poor wanted a quality soundbar this was excellent a bit pricey but well worth it,easy to install remote a bit big overall very good product came well packaged

This is a really nice piece of kit, compact and excellent sound.

My hearing was not so good .I can hear the TV no problem now . get one.

Replaced for old solo Much smaller great sound Bass heavy but after personal adjustments just fine

I'm not stranger to Bose. I bought this to replace and original Solo and although this is less expensive it is still a disappointment. Despite messing with the sound options, I find it "coloured" a boxy sound. The remote is enormous. I know it can be tuned as a one for all, which I've not yet bothered to do.As for the speech clarity which is what I was looking to use when listening to the news very early in the morning, it's not so good. I hate slagging off a Bose product, as I love my mini sound link and my bluetooth headphones (noting that a later model of those I tried had a coloured sound). So I'd say if you're looking for a sound bar, save your pennies and go up a model or two. You will probably tire of this quickly.
