I am slightly disappointed that this product contains basil, which i have difficulty digesting. Otherwise, it is a good soup. I love beet soup. I notice that a lot of people are questioning the P65 warning. That is required by California law. Lead occurs naturally in a lot of vegetables, especially root vegetables. California government's nanny mentality requires such warnings for the most minute risk of exposure. For instance, licorice cannot be sold in California at all because of its natural lead content. You should read up on the benefits and risks of beets if you're concerned, but I personally love beets and recommend this product. Serving suggestion: add a dollop of sour cream. Yum.

I bought this thinking it would be great to have a just add water or broth soup.The claim is that this product does not contain fillers or additives. However the ingredient list includes “natural flavors”, “guar gum” and “nutritional yeast extract”.If these items are objectionable for you, beware that Amazon does not allow you to return unopened packages.

Interesting flavor, because of unusual combination of vegetables. You can easily control thickness. Not too salty (that’s a plus). Keep stirring while heating it: you don’t want lumps to form. This is normal, not a criticism.

I’m kind of disappointed with the Cauliflower Tumeric soup, it reconstituted into a lovely creamy soup. However it is very bland. It has a very slight peppery taste and a little bitterness. I was really hoping for an easy meal but I’ll probably just end up using it as a thickener for other dishes

I plan to use this item as an additive to other soup recipes but it doesn't have much flavor on its own.
