Good quality, good price, well made.
Unlike a fair bit of relatively inexpensive clothing you find online, these shorts are pretty awesome. They fit, the zippers work, the pockets are big enough to actually stuff a large cell phone in one, and they don't interfere with riding. Honestly, I like them better than some high end shorts I have that I've paid 3-4 times as much for. I've got 3 pairs of these, and will buy more as my others wear out.

Comfortable lightweight and nice looking
These shorts have a very nice looking design. They are loose and comfortable, have nice sized pockets. Material is thin and lightweight. If you're looking for padded shorts, these aren't them. They do have snaps on the inside where you could attach them to an inner padded short.I don't know how well these will hold up since I've only done a few rides, but so far so good.

Good quality mountain/gravel bike shorts
I'm giving these cargo/bike shorts 4 stars instead of 5 stars. These blue shorts do not have a back zipping pocket. It's not a deal breaker.. but disappointing. I purchased a pair of green Arsuxeo shorts previously to this Amazon purchase from an online clothing dealer.... and those shorts had a back zipping pocket for wallet, etc. I had no idea that there were different versions of these shorts. With that said... the quality of the shorts is very good for the price paid. I wear these over a padded liner and they are good for 20+ mile gravel bike rides. There's 6 pockets on the front of the shorts. The material is ideal for hot weather... wicking, polyester stretching fabric. The shorts are comfortable... not too tight, but not too baggy.... and have a long inseam that goes to the knees. These cargo/bike shorts look good and could be worn casually. Highly recommended.... good product even though there's no back, zipping pocket.

Pockets, Sizing, Durability, Biking Style -- some thoughts
RATING: I rounded up to a 5, as these are a no-regrets, no-complaints buy, but really they fall more into a 4.25/4.5 class. That said, I purchased two initially, and was satisfied enough I got another pair.POCKETS - The ZIP pockets are placed ideally for biking. You can zip and unzip them rather easily even while coasting at a decent pace. I take lots of pics of corny nature stuff, and also sometimes feel the need to flip the song on my little bluetooth mini speaker, and sometimes answer an emergency call. So my phone is in and out a few times during a 2.5 hour ride. I have never once struggled to get my phone in and out of the pocket, nor had issues with the zippers, again, even while coasting on my bike (of course, while on non grueling paths)Having my phone in that upper zip pocket does not affect my ride at all. I can barely feel it, and I think that is because it fits rather snugly in there. It doesn't jostle or feel like its trying to pop out. Also, my car keys (little fob kind with two regular keys attached) didn't annoy me either when in the other upper or lower pocket. They don't wave around as I pedal or flip and flop. This is essential when riding.A couple of things to note:I have an iPhone 11 -- I am not sure how the "max" sizes of cell phone lines will work in the pockets. It seems as though they might fit in the lower zip pocket, but would be horizontal not vertical -- that might affect your ride/feel depending on your body type. They won't fit in the upper zips at all, it seems to me.Even though there are two zip pockets on each side, they are "on top of each other." Meaning, if you have an item in each, they will be layered, one inner, one outer -- so they might pop out a bit. It's why I never use both on same side -- phone on one upper zip, keys on the other side. The "jeans"-style non zip pockets are fine -- but not really comfy or useful when biking.SIZING -- I am a size 31-32 in jeans, but small seemed an unwise choice. I went with Medium and they fit perfectly. Meaning, I dont need to adjust those velcro straps at all. So the sizing chart is a bit off. Medium currently states 33-36. Maybe they are trying to translate sizes to us huskier Americans, but they're a little off. I would size up based on their (as of July21) chart. Meaning, if you're really a 35/36, the large might be better.DURABILTY - I have worn and washed my first two pairs about 5 times ... and while that is not a ton, I can kinda tell that these are NOT meant to last a lifetime. I've only biked in them, and played pickleball once. No threads coming out, no tears, no noticeable wear. BUT, they really are just a buncha cloth panels kinda slammed together - which is I guess what you pay for at this relatively cheaper price. I don't use the velcro strappy things as M's fit me, but I can see these a) coming undone while you're wearing them cause they seem flimsy and b) not working generally either through wear or washing -- just my feeling on those.BIKING STYLE - As mentioned, I bike mostly on nature paths of asphalt, slightly loose gravel, and dirt -- using a hybrid bike. I do not do any heavy duty mountain biking. I would NOT get these for that type of riding. These are for more casual riding -- as indicated by the non-crotch padding. Also, I can't speak to whether pads will fit in these, as those are not really my thing. So, I can see these lasting 1.5-2 years ... 50/60 washes and wears, before something might go awry with the materials themselves. Compare to, well, mens swim trunks or even golf shorts ... I kinda buy those and they'll be with me for much longer.USING FOR OTHER STUFF -- I have only two other types of shorts: zany pant-styled golf shorts, and basketball shorts. These have more give than the first, and are a slimmer, tighter profile than the latter. They are great for causal/intermediate biking compared to my other shorts -- not being flappy in the wind, but letting me move more freely has been huge. They also seem like they'd be great for anything around the water - boating, fishing, etc -- though I'm no real expert on that stuff. They are NOT great for pickleball or Tennis ... it's not easy to get balls in and out of the pockets at all. And the pockets (all of them) are too small for the balls to fit comfortably. They seem ok for casual wear -- but I got them in crazy colors, to help avoid being hit by cars and things, so not sure safety orange or gumball blue are good for daily life. One last thing -- the name is awful. My daughter and I love the random assortment of letters that some chinese manufacturers affix to things. We have an iPad case from TOPESCT -- we laugh daily trying to figure out how to say it or what it might mean. Please reply if you have an idea.that said, Arsuxeo = Arse Sucks Tuxedo? Sucks butt sweat fancy pants! Sorry if that offends, but we find it Hilarious.

Regular size fits.
I always have a problem guessing what items to order based on the charts provided and Amazon always recommends XL based on one flannel pajama order I made a few years ago! I’m 5’11” , weight 190 with a waist around 39”. I ordered Large and very pleased with the fit. The combination of the elastic waist and the belt loops provide a fairly large range of accommodation. The blue is a really nice color (matches lectricebike’s blue we’ll. The shorts look better in person than they do in the picture. I was looking for just this style biking shorts as my ebike has a large well padded seat and I didn’t want a gel insert. The only, very minor, change would be to have the pans legs taper slightly more for a closer fit, but they are fine as is. Another thing I like about these bike shorts is they look perfectly normal to were as everyday shouts and don’t look out of place as the close fitting spandex shorts do if not bike riding. A fantastic deal on price too. Before I found these I looked at a lot of $100+ shorts that are not as nice as these. So far I’ve not encountered any stitching or zipper problems (I always rub SCUBA wetsuit lubrication on all new zippers).

Better than expected
I've purchased many pairs of MTB shorts in this price range before and the quality is usually pretty good. These are a little better than most. The thickness and quality of the fabric are better than most I've seen. The double-button waistband is very comfortable and supportive. My favorite part is the zipper placement on the pockets. There are 3 pockets on each leg, a standard pocket, and a vertical and horizontal cargo pocket. The horizontal pockets have zippers that are positioned at a diagonal. This is great because most shorts like this have horizontal zippers that open easily but when you go to close them the fabric stretches making it nearly impossible to close with one hand. This diagonal zipper... No problem! Well thought out and quality-made shorts.

First order is excellent hoping second order will be the same product
Excellent fit excellent material cool design works well for everything. I’ve ordered the second pair. It’s taking 10 times as long to get to me. Hopefully, it’s the same and I would order more.
