Voltaire is a word game for one player. From a set of 10 lettered pawns, always renewed, the aim is to form words on the game grid, Cross-word fashion, until all of the 48 letters have been placed. Several levels of difficulty: from easy to very difficult.

She enjoyed the concept
If you are a Scrabble fan, Voltaire will keep you entertained. Scrabble for one.....My 91 year old Mother loves crossword puzzles. She enjoyed the concept, but had difficulty with the tiles sliding on the board. Would be great if they made the board with grooves to hold the tiles like my Scrabble game board.

Fun and engaging
Fun and engaging. The wooden board and tiles are attractive enough for the coffee table and sturdy enough for the rec room.
