I just finished writing a not so glowing review of a pair of Lucky Brand earrings that fell short of the LB standard I’m accustomed to. This bracelet restores my faith! I really like it AND it’s super versatile; I typically dress more edgy/casual and this works perfectly in that aesthetic, especially coupled with even more bracelets, but the chevron pattern works with boho and even dressier/professional looks too. I appreciate that both the yellow gold and silver tones are more muted and not blindingly shiny—this makes it read more expensive than it is. The piece has a decent heft too without being super clunky. The metal work is well done, all smooth and quite comfortable against the skin. Because it doesn’t have much chain linking/open bits, it doesn’t catch on every little thing. It’s not exactly one solid piece as each chevron is attached to one long flat metal piece that runs down the center—thus it ‘bends’. Like the band of a metal watch.I had to buy this blind since the length wasn’t included in the listing. I was a bit bummed to find out it’s 8” long; I have 6” wrists and so this doesn’t make an ideal fit. (My wrists are literally the only skinny thing on me, I gotta milk this). If you are concerned about fit, do know there are only TWO rings available for closure—basically right next to each other, thus making it a bit pointless as an ‘adjustable’ bracelet. So actual wear length is approx 7.5” and 7.75”. It’s just shy of 3/4” wide. I love this piece so will deal with how loose and jangly it is. Bottom line is it’s lovely quality and would make a nice gift (except it arrived in just a clear plastic baggie, so additional wrapping would be needed).
