Rada Cutlery Cook’s Utility Knife, Made in USA, Silver Handle

I've got both sizes. and I use them daily. they are great all around knives. I do have to sharped them fairly often but that's not a problem and don't put them in a dishwasher. it will mess up the handles. but they are SS and the blades are don't rust. the handles are bare aluminum.

There is nothing about this knife I don’t like. Like all of the Rada knives they are very sharp (& made in the USA )I use this knife for chopping vegetables & meat. It gives a clean sharp cut.To keep them razor sharp, purchase their sharpener. (It looks like a toy). but it WORKS!Like all good knives you don’t put them in the dishwasher.

It’s, small, incredibly sharp but you won’t be disappointed with anything ratta, spend the money to get a larger knife for bigger stuff, this is a fabulous company

I was under the impression (erroneously, it seems) that knife lengths refer to the blade and not to the blade and it’s handle. This knife from tip to the end of the handle is, indeed, 8 1/2 inches, but the blade is only 4 inches. I am accustomed to using much larger knives. However, rather than return this, I will simply order another knife. I have used Rada for years, and in my “top home cook’s” opinion, the knives are consistently on par with the more expensive German knives (e.g., about $150 each when I bought them) I have in my kitchen arsenal. They are comfortable to hold, easy to sharpen, beautiful to look at. Be sure to follow their instructions never to put these in a dishwasher to keep them shiny and not tarnished. Treat yourself to the satisfaction that good knives contribute to kitchen prep. No excuses at this price.

Wow I am so amazed! I had no idea knives could be this sharp! It breezed through a tomato without any effort, leaving behind no juice on the cutting board. I love the size of this utility knife, it is perfect for cutting most things, not too small, not too big and it is amazing how thin the blade is. I love how lightweight these knives are, it makes cutting food so much easier. I don't like heavy knives personally. The silver handles look so beautiful that I just want to put them on display. I have just ordered many more knives as gifts because these knives amaze me so much. Soon I will also buy the steak knife set, I can only imagine how amazing the steak knives are.It shipped fast along with a few other knives and the sharpener, and the knives came so sharp that when I cut veggies, it's like cutting through air.I did a lot of research on knives before buying these, seeing that even top chefs think these affordable knives are great, so I knew they were going to be good, but I had no idea they would be this good. Rada, thank you so much for creating such amazing knives at such an affordable price!

Knives are so good that cutting vegetables feels as if you’re cutting butter. Hope the sharpness lasts.
