Merino.tech Merino Wool T-Shirt Mens - 100% Organic Merino Wool Undershirt Lightweight Base Layer

I have several of these t-shirts, they are warm, a little itchy, and could stand a more honest description. If you put them in the dryer they will shrink-period. I learned the hard way, the care instructions that arrive with the shirts recommends hand washing and flat drying. I have found hanging them from a rack keeps the length from changing. The length seems to vary a bit with the color, the red seems to be the longest, the grey is about 2 inches shorter, and green falls in between. They are merino wool, the price is lower than the wash and machine dry merino shirts, they do not get smelly when you sweat, breath very well so they are comfy pretty much for 3 seasons, but given the extra care I probably would not buy any more-I have shrunk one by accident which was a costly mistake. The description should reflect the actual care instructions with the garment.

Made in PRC China. Doesn’t state where the cotton is from nor that it’s organic. (According to the sown-in tag on the shirt I received 2023 April.)Fits me well and does seem to result in less odor than cotton. I’ve only hand washed it and have only washed it once. Had already pilled a little, but that’s wool. I’d get more if they were certified organic.

I purchased this Merino Tech shirt for workouts and runs. It is my second Merino tech shirt but this one is a size larger than the first I ordered. I usually wear a large t-shirt so that is what I ordered the first time. I still wear it but it is form fitting. This xl fits just like I wanted, maybe a little bit looser. I’ll see if washing it does anything but either way I’m happy. Hope this review helps if you debating size.

I am working to switch my entire wardrobe over to Merino Wool. I have numerous sweaters and long sleeve pull overs. These are my first two (2) shirts. I have been wearing them for the last week or so. I am very happy with them. They have a longer tail/length, so that fits me perfectly. They seem a bit light, but that is what I am looking for going into Summer. I will see how long they last.

Very comfortable shirt but obviously quality is lacking. I’ve worn the shirt ten times and followed all washing and drying instructions and the pit has torn. Haven’t been doing anything too strenuous while wearing it and have been careful because it’s so expensive, I really hoped for better with what these shirts cost.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. My intention was for him to wear it for work, since he works outdoors all day in the Canadian winter. He hasnt worn it to work yet but he loves the feel and warmth so he has been wearing it as an undershirt. It could be worn just as a tshirt with his jeans, which I suspect he will do when it warms up again. I can see this being a staple shirt for the motorcycle also. I bought his usual size and it fit him. He works out, so I was concerned about the arms, but that isnt a problem. He has a 17" neck and that isn't a problem either. The only thing I can see that might be an issue is the length of the shirt. It is great with his jeans but when working and always moving, I think it will easily come untucked. I think we will be buying him another one.

I just went to Manning Park for a hike wearing this merino t-shirt. The Merino-Tech shirt was durable on this 6 hour day hike. I also did several 10 km runs with this shirt. Wool shirts have a great quality where they keep you warm when wet but cool with a breeze. I only wear merino for exercise and for outdoor adventures. I own many Icebreakers and MEC merino wool. This is just as good with after a few washings to get out the itch.Also, the 165 g/m weight of the merino is perfect for me for exercise. It is not too thin to feel like it may tear and not too warm.The fit is athletic - not baggy but not skin tight like Underarmor.When first washed, it was slightly itchy but the itch has gone away with the second wash.I will buy again then the price is right.
