I installed two of these in my screened-in porch, replacing some cheap fans the previous owners had installed. The Fanimation fans are a huge upgrade. They look great, seem very well-built, and most important for me, they move a lot of air with no noise at all. The remotes are handy (and very easy to program to control the two fans separately without interference). I also added the light kit and the wifi module. The one complaint I have is that the app for the wifi module is pretty terrible. The base fan (what this listing is about) doesn't include wifi, so I'm not going to knock a star off for it. And at the end of the day, it does work. But do be aware that if you're going to add the wifi module, the app is really bad. Despite that, I'm extremely happy with these fans.

This fan never worked. My electrician attempted to install, but concluded that fan was defective. The seller — Carolina Lights — refused to provide refund. My strong recommendation is that you not buy this cheaply-made, yet expensive fan, particularly from Carolina lights.

This fan is beautiful, artistic and quiet! Installation was a little trickier than other fans, but well worth it!
