Sheen Machine Handmade Fountain Pen Bottled Ink-60 ml

At first I tried this out and was disappointed. It seemed to be flat blue (albeit a nice blue). Even on tatami river paper. I also couldn't see any sparkle in the demonstrator pen like Emeraude De Chivor.I brought my writing sample into the kitchen to show my wife and complain (lol). When I saw it under the bright lights I was amazed. It's not like glitter, it's like writing with liquid metal. Super fancy looking. Also since it's not a glitter additive it flows nice and easy. I don't know what it's made out of, but it's awesome.A few things:1. Use Rhodia paper. Anything less its a waste, anything more and it will take forever to dry.2. Use a medium nib pen. The more ink you put down the better.3. Look at it under direct light to see the full effect.Very happy. Can't wait to buy sheen machine 2!

It sheens well through a broad or snub nib, but feathers heavily on my journal paper. I use a cheap journal so this isn’t unreasonable. I was told by many it’s great for cheaper paper but I fail to see how. I can only remove a single star for that as it is not the maker’s fault and most certainly sheeting ink requires quality paper.

I was absolutely pleased with this ink. I first saw Paul Antonio use it and I wanted to try it myself. After receiving it and trying it, it was better than I expected. Previous inks that have sheen and shimmer do not work so well with my pilot parallel pens such as emerald of chivor which is a lovely ink but in my pilot parallel pens it doesn’t do so well as far as seeing shimmer and sheen but sheen machine works great. I highly recommend it.

Used this in an FPR UF pen and my jury rigged Jing Hao Zebra G nib. The ink flows really well, no issues.You do have to shake it for ~10 seconds, then extract the ink from the bottle to make sure no settling has occurred.

This will sheen even in a fine nib pin and on every paper I've tried, even on my finger when it dripped. The only issue I have is the ink is sticky and can skip even after a short break in writing. Also, since it's stick if ink is on the lid it'll be hard to open

The ink leaves a beautiful sheen when it’s dry. You do have to be careful on the kind of paper you use, it doesn’t work on inexpensive cheap paper or envelopes. Also best used in fountain pen but dip pen excellent on good, smooth non-absorbent paper. Shipping and Correspondence with the vendor was excellent.

This ink does what the name suggests, using it with a dip pen is a fantastic experience Because I get a wide variance in color with hairline strokes being a nice blue to the shades of a letter having a beautiful magenta sheen; this ink is truly a sheen machine

It is the thickness and the sheer essence I was looking for
