CrystalClear ClarityMax - Pond, Stream & Waterfall Treatment - 1 lb treats up to 8,000 gallons

Had some murky pond water that developed in my 1200 gallon koi pond and tried to use this product to clear it. I think it helped clear the algae off the rocks after a week or so. Made the clarity of the water worse for a few days then it got marginally better than when I started. I can't say for sure if this did any good because I also started using koi clay in the water as well. After a month of sub-par water visibility I tried putting polyester quilt batting in my waterfall for a day and my water got crystal clear. The 8 dollar batting was the solution. This might be a good product for regular maintenance but I don't own a microscope or hold a biology degree so I don't know.

I do NOT recommend this product for anyone with a koi pond or small fish pond of any sort. I followed the directions, and I woke up the next day to a bunch of my fish floating dead at the top of my pond. I was very upset by this, and over the course of a few days, more died too. I wish I could go back in time and not buy this product, but unfortunately I can't, so I'm hoping this review gets across to some of you and you can possibly avoid having what happened to me happen to your fish also.

Lots of nice sunny weather is nice BUT then the algae forms on the rocks of the pond. This powder is applied and then you turn the pond and water flow off for awhile. The rocks and bottom of the pond will get sparkling clean. It is also less expensive to order online and the pond store was not able to get a supply due to the virus limitations.

Just about the only thing that works in my pond to keep string algae at bay. I have been using this for over three years and have not found anything better. Does not bother fish at all.

My pond’s waterfall gunk that accumulated on the boulders disappeared after a day. Expensive but worth the investment.

Using this product on a weekly schedule has done wonders to keep the string algae from forming in my pond. After years of trying many different products, I have finally found the one I can count on!

ClarityMax really works. I have a small Koi pond and the water used to get full of algae and turn green. A friend told me about ClarityMax and it really, really works. Usually within 24 hours, my pond is clear and the algae is destroyed. It does not harm your fish/koi. You will see results within 24 hours. I highly recommend this product.

I have Bio-filter and it's not hot yet. I cleaned filter awhile back. Pond running 24hr.I have not noticed any change in my water clarity after 2 weeks of using this product as recommended. I can see if I saw a little better clarity...but nothing. D-solve 9 is the only product I've ever noticed any clarity, though my fish congregate at bottom of pond when I add D-Solve 9, but none died.....figured it's effecting them somehow, decided to try this product. Going back to D-Solve.
