Mogami 2964 Digital Coaxial Cable 75 Ohm S/PDIF | Canare Gold RCA | HiFi - 1.64 ft / 0.5 m

This is my 2nd review (1st is below). This was a replacement for the .5 meter version. The connectors appeared to fit much too loosely. So I returned it for the s1 meter version. Same problems. So I contacted Enoaudio and they quickly replied. They directed me to exert more force when inserting the Canare RCA connector. When done properly there is a clicking sound indicating success. It worked. So, in fact, the connectors fit much more "permanently" then any others I've used. Complete satisfaction and a very reasonably priced cable for my system. No need to spend outrageous amounts of money and you really can!!!************************************I'd originally ordered a the .5 meter version of this cable. But the connector was so loose and because of the length, every time I moved either stereo piece it was connected to; I'd loose connectivity. So I returned it and ordered this 1 meter version. Same problem, loose fitting! But the extra length makes it less problematic. I'm not sure the problem but originally I was using a much cheaper cable and didn't have this problem.

I have built and used Mogami interconnect and have been pleased with its performance. The Mogami 2964 digital coax cable is the third different brand cable I have tried and this one works well with my Magnepan 3.6 speakers. Mogami cables tend to work well with more neutral speakers. It's the right one for me and it could be for you. Great value and highly recommended.

used to connect a marantz 6007 to a schiit bifrost 2 DAC; haven't compared it to other cables, so far it does what it's intended to do.

I can legit hear a difference between a $10 cable and this one. Worth the extra few bucks imo.

It stopped working a month or two after buying it.

I have been on a quest testing a dozen digital cables and toss links for under a hundred dollars looking for a bargain. I have also tested at least one costing nine times the cost of this cable. This is 2964 cable of the absolute best cables I have listened to and is my cable of choice now, even over the $450. model by a famous cable maker. The sound is clear, dynamic and at times almost holographic with a Muzishare tbe amp. Bass is well represented and good quality being both tight and articulate. Midrange is vivid and true and the highs are all in place and detailed avoiding seeming bright. I love this cable.Just so you know my frame of reference, I have a good system in the 5k range. The 2964 cable more than holds its own in good company. I've been doing this audiophile thing for about forty years and I can say that in my system, this cable gets my highest recommendation. You should also try the Gotham digital cable from World Best Cables. also excellent.

I use it as professional connection between my Mutec reclockers, sample rate converters and format converter. Quality of the cable is very good (sturdy and well made) and I could not notice any sound degradation.There will be higher quality cables out there, but price / quality is hard to beat.Recommended if you need a good cable at a good price.

Ottimo cavo di qualità, l'ho usato col mio subwoofer, ovviamente non mi aspettavo cambiamenti di sorta per quanto concerne l'audio vero e proprio (avevo già un buon cavo), ma ho voluto togliermi lo sfizio di poter dire di aver collegato il sub al sintoamplificatore con un cavo giapponese Mogami e connettori Canare, questi ultimi li ho trovati davvero efficienti perché consentono una connessione robusta senza "stringersi" troppo all'RCA: non si rischia quindi di fare danni quando si avrà l'esigenza di staccare il cavo. Il cavo vero e proprio poi è sottile e flessibile rispetto alla media di questa tipologia di cavi, pur avendo una costruzione che al tatto pare davvero ottimale.
