Works very well
Works very well to precisely get a little oil to where it is needed. Excellent for old garage door bearing rollers, old vehicle door and hood hinges. Anywhere a little oil lubrication is needed without making a mess.

Exceeded my wildest expectations. You have to try.
I cannot believe I am writing a review about an oiler can. I have grown up around mechanicing in the military, aviation and outdoors. I quickly learned that well lubricated equipment is more reliable, last longer, functions better, inhibits rust and corrosion, and is easy to clean. My life has depended on a well working rifle, aircraft or humvee before. Because of this I was always paying for basically Air in a Can with some WD-40. I went ahead and bought a gallon and tried cheap plastic spray bottles, but they crack in the sun and cannot take other solvents.Cut to the Chase: This oiler can is Made in America, is durable and small. Everything I need. It works great. I can apply a well controlled drop to just a folding pocket knife hinge or rifle bolt or spray a hard to reach nut and bolt combination to remove easily. The company offers many different models and a flexible application tube, but I went with just a short pipe. Has a nice, flat bottom that stand up great. Made of good, thick metal. Fits in a toil box easily. Simple to use and reliable. The price was excellent, especially for the quality. I know I'll save thousands of dollars in corrosion resistance and cans or aerosol WD-40 which is a little bit of WD-40 and AIR. Why pay for air? ONE CAN OF WD-40 COST MORE THEN ONE OF THESE OILERS which will last a lifetime. These will be used on a daily business at work and at home. Should have bought one years ago. This is such a solid item. A real must have if you are just beginning to get into mechanics or anything else. You'll save time from stripping bolts and wearing out hinges and rubber. Breaking bolts. or rusting stuff. One of the best buys I have made in a long time. Really happy with this.

These are the best
Don’t look at any other oil can these work so nice. Full control of distribution of oil and durable.

Quality oiler, but with minor drawbacks.
Some things I like about it:* Made in USA* Quality feel to the entire oiler, especially the squeeze action. When you try-out the oilers at the parts storethey feel nasty, the plunger rod scrapes the back side of the hole (where it enters the cap). This handle feelsmore sturdy and seems better somehow.* The base has a nice sturdy looking/feeling coat of paint. No doubt it will look fine for many years.* The base is also flared at the bottom and seems like it will prove to be stable. What I do not like:* It is soldered poorly at the point where the spout passes through the cap. There is a lot of splatter and extra solder, Ipurchased two of these and they're both like that.* The cap must kept a little loose to use. If the cap is tightened all the way and the handle is squeezed/pumped, nooil will leave the spout. This is probably intentional; if the cap is tightened all the way and the oiler is carried in atool box, it is inevitable it will fall over, but not leak. So for users who carry this for mobile use, this could be a big plus.* The package was only just good enough. If it had been handled too much more I could imagine the oilers could havefallen out or been damaged.I purchased two of these, one for oil and the other for pushing brake fluid backwards, through the bleeder screw, to bleed my brakes. I purchased a short length of 1/4" gas line which fits securely onto this oiler's spout. The ugly solder is inexcusable, I would have easily given this 5 stars had the solder looked better.

Well Made
I bought an oil can at the local parts house and after three usages the non-metal spout fell off. What a waste of money. This one works well and looks like it will last a long time. Highly recommend.

Expensive but it is made like they did 40yrs ago.
Dislike the high price when I could have got 3 or 4 for that price 40yrs ago. But it is built to last.

Hard to like the wrong item
It’s hard to like an item when you pay $20 each for the copper colored ones and the ones you receive are the $14 black cans. Feel like golden rod is trying to pull one over on people here to squeeze some extra profit. Well, unfortunately I won’t be testing these out, as we’ll be going straight back. Instead, I ordered a handful of Reilang cans from a vendor in Germany (Jens Putzier Tools). Yeah, they’re double the price but they’re top notch oilers and everything I have that’s Swiss made is top tier (including my welding hoods). And they only took 4 days to get here. Sorry, not sorry Golden Rod. You lost this customer.

Finally - a high quality oil can
The pump, nozzle, container, all the stuff that makes up a proper oil can; all are high quality and just work.
