I originally tried this dress on at Nordstrom, but saw the price was almost 50% less on Amazon (!!!!!!!) so I decided to order it on here instead!It truly is a beautiful dress - super classic style that can be worn to almost any type of event! The quality of the material is great, and it has a tinyyyy bit of stretch to it - not too much that it will stretch out, but just enough to make it super comfortable.In regard to sizing... I am curvy on my lower half, small on the top - 150lbs, 5'5", 34C - the small was SUPER snug, and the medium was a bit too loose. Which is strange, because in-store, the small fit perfect and the medium was huge!I ended up keeping the medium though, and it was fine - not too big that it was noticeable, but it definitely didn't hold the 'girls' in place like the small I tried on in-store did.Overall, really happy with this purchase! Dress the Population makes some beautiful dresses, and they're always high quality. You won't regret this purchase - ESPECIALLY at this price!

This dress is beautiful... it's not too short, but still shows off some leg. The material is high quality. The color is exactly like the picture. I wish this would have fit my bust. I ordered a large, which fit me in the waist perfectly, but my XXL bust was spilling out. I had to return it, but for anyone who isn't super top with a smaller waist, this dress would be perfection.

This dress is gorgeous! I'm just in love with it. It accentuates my waist. The length is nice. The skirt is twirl worthy. The V-neck is pretty low, but not too low for an evening event. I wouldn't wear it to a funeral without covering the cleavage area. The fabric is medium and does not show my love handles. It may have a tiny bit of stretch, but not much. It has pockets! I love everything about this dress except the chest seam. My chest is about 2.5" lower than the seams of this dress. It causes a puckered area above my breast. It's not too bad mostly because the dress is black. I'm old and just not perky. This seam bothered me. I altered it to remove the extra fabric above my breast. It was not hard to do. I'm 65 years old, 5'4", chest 38", waist 32". The large was too big. The medium was perfect. If you're "girls" are perky, get this dress!

For the price I had a huge rip in the pocket not seen obviously but it was annoying

i adore this dress, i own it in burgondy in the size XS and have put on some weight so i wanted to go up to a S the only issue with the dress at that poi9nt was the cut in the boobs was too low and showed my bra, it was loose around the chest area so it showed not only the middle section but the cups from the side. Unfortunatly i had to return it as even with a sticky bra it still showed the cups from the side. the dress fit nice in other areas and if it wernt for the bra issues i would have kept it.my measurements are:135 lbs32 B5'7

I bought this dress for my courthouse wedding and it was absolutely perfect! It fit very well and was beautifully made. It was a little snug around my ribs and got a little uncomfortable to breathe while eating, but otherwise it was absolutely perfect! I received many compliments and felt beautiful AND comfortable. And pockets!!

Cute style but too tight in midsection. Fabric is very heavy for a sleeveless summer dress. Maybe for the fall with a shawl. Go up a size but then bust might be too big.

I’m 5’9”, and weight about 170lbs. I absolutely love this dress. Material is not thin and sheer, has a nice quality and weight to it. I opted to wear a body seat underneath, rather than a regular bra to accommodate the girls without them being on full display. Back closes with an exposed zipper and hook on top. Dress has pockets and is just extremely comfortable and flattering.

What a nice surprise, dress is very well-made. I love the pockets fits, very nicely to the body, good quality fabric and definitely quality workmanship. I bought the medium and for reference I am 5 foot five at 120 pounds. Bought it for my daughters wedding, beautiful colour this is the peacock blue.I got so many compliments and so many women asking me where I got it!Also, it got a little soiled, during our country wedding, so I put it in the washing machine, gentle cycle, drip dry, and it came out beautifully!Someone said “I am the next Beth Dutton!” LOL

Very well made and the patterns fit perfectly. The dress looks just like it is advertised.

I hesitated for so long on this dress that sizing began to run out for my size so I bit the bullet and bought this dress for my university graduation. I was scared that it wouldn't be worth the price tag and the material would be cheap despite the cost, and I was also scared about sizing. However, it came today and I was blown away! Easily the prettiest dress I've ever bought and I cannot wait to wear it to convocation. The material isn't exactly thick but feels decently heavy. The dress itself hugs every curve, which can be a downside but worked out in my case! It is very form fitted for a fit and flare, so keep a close watch of the size chart and get a size larger than you would normally wear.
