Good Iteration of a Must Have Treat For Our Dogs
As the owners- human servants might be a more apt description- of two 50 pound former street dogs, let me just say cows ears are a lifesaver. Not much slows down our dogs but at least a nice big cows ear gives them pause for 10 minutes or so as they devour them. Yes- I know these are all day treats for smaller dogs, but well, as I mentioned- former street dogs. We have tried a number of different brands, not so much as we really liked or disliked any particular brand, but living overseas, we have had some issues with shipping, as well as often we would look for the product on sale as they can get a tad expensive if your dogs get one or two every day as ours do.In that vein, we are quite satisfied with the Red Ear Brand. They are comparable in cost to other major brands, they sell through Amazon so we did not have an issue sending them to an APO address, they arrived promptly and they are much the same quality as other brands. I noticed that the ones we have received so far are smaller than some other brands- particularly the HDP Jumbos, but not so much so that we consider them to be a bad bargain. The only minor complaint we have is that they do not seem quite as clean as others we have received. These still had some black, crusty matter on the inside of the ears- not that the dogs seem to mind in the least, but you do notice it. On the plus side, they do not leave any odor- sometimes we have noticed a faint odor from boxes or bags of ears but these don’t have one, nor do we find any trace of one after the dogs have eaten them.Overall, we like this product and if your dogs like cows ears, they will probably like this product as well. Although we don’t have any particular brand loyalty to Red Barn, we will probably end up ordering this product again based on price and shipping.

Pup Loves
Like a few others commenting here my last bag was very small - only had 4 ears. This bag was bigger than ever and even more coated. I have a very happy pup. I’ll keep ordering from this company because my pup loves their stuff :)

Would be five stars but the price went up $9 in a few days.
I ordered a box of these because they are grass fed, free range cow ears and from the US. NOT China. This was my first order, so I only ordered one box. My dogs (Husky and a Lab) both love them! They are way bigger than the pig ears I pay way more for. I came on here today to order 3 additional boxes and was surprised to find the price went from $66, what I paid less than a week ago, to $75! Maybe some people don't mind the additional money but I do. If it is a $66 product then why change it? Guess I will just buy the pig ears from the local pet store. At least they don't change the price in a day. They really are nice chews and great for larger dogs who love to chomp on things but not when they are hiking up prices like that.* I asked a question in the question section for this product about how often the price fluctuates and the seller replied saying that this product has always remained the same price and has never changed..even though on Feb. 4, 2014 I paid $66 and free shipping and today, Feb. 12, 2014 the cost is $75 and free shipping. I was just curious to see if people who order these often pay different prices and if I wait a few days maybe the price will go down??? Apparently, $66 is the same as $75. ALSO, please note that this is an Amazon verified purchase and I am not just making up how much I paid last week. These are still a steal at this price. I am not saying they are over priced. All I wanted to know was if the price often changes. Why say they don't...when clearly they do, makes the seller look bad.

Not natural had horrible smell and coating on them.
Usually RedBarn has great products but I ordered natural cow ears because my dog has food allergies and these were not all natural. They had a horrible smell to them with a coating on them. They are expensive to begin with but when you don’t get what you ordered it’s very disappointing.

The best!
Best cow ears out there, have been buying these for years. I've tried a lot of different brands and sizes. My Great Danes hated the super jumbo of the other brands. These are like donuts - they are SO excited for their daily ear, it's a celebration! Keeps their teeth nice and clean, have two Danes over 5 years old and haven't needed dental done on either one ever. One was adopted as a puppy and has been getting these her whole life. One was adopted at age 4 with terrible brown teeth, bad breath and swollen red gums. Within a week, the molars were 90% clean. I descaled the large front canine teeth myself and we were able to avoid putting him under for cleaning (picture is his teeth now a year and half later). Only thing I would wish for is that they were a little larger - they used to come with the big chunk piece on the end and now most of the box doesn't have that. Still love them and give 5 stars.

Best of both worlds!
My semi-head loves both bully sticks and cow ears but sometimes gets tired of one or the other. One I found these bully coated ears by Redbarn I hit the jackpot! He chews one just about every net of the week. With so many companies selling dog treats these days you have to be careful and make sure the company is putting out quality Products. after doing some research, Redbarn check all of the boxes for me in terms of both quality and value. I used to be able to find these in my local store, but am happy I’ve found them here in this large size, as we go through them pretty quickly.
