This pump is amazing for the price and much better than the last one I had in my water feature. It has a good variable flow and looks great, very quiet running and great value for money.

This is a nice neat and quiet range of pumps. However, I had to return the 1500 L/h pump I originally ordered because it could not deliver the volume of water I required. The spec says 1500 l/h and max lift of 2.5 metre. I had a small.15 metre lift from the base of fountain with a top bowl (see photo) that needed a 1.15 metre lift. Its a cascading fountain so no need for pressure at the outlet. The pump was connected to a 2 metre length of standard 15mm od / 12mm id corrugated pond hose with no angles or impediments which connected to the vertical 20mm pipe through the statue. The 1500 pump could barely deliver any water to the to bowl, i estimate the output to be around 10 lite / min. I liked the pump design so returned the 1500 pump and re ordered the 3000 lite pump and connected this into the same set up. This works nicely with about a 30mm lift out into the bird bath bowl and an estimated flow of about 30 lite / min which creates a gentle cascade from the bowl down the statue.I would have given this pump 5 star rating except that the flow data needs to be far more specific and give flow rates and head data with different pipe sizes. Just giving the maximum at the pump is not good enough.

Excellent value for my pond better than pumps I have bought before for three or four times the price.

Unfortuantely this pump has to be the noisiest I have ever had in the 15 years of having a marine tank. And although the blurb says whisper quiet all i can say is they must be deaf! My wife needs hearing aids and with them off its still too noisy for her!! So if my example is representative of the quality of this pump then its best to look elsewhere if you intend on using it indoors which is a shame as it seems to plenty powerfull enough for an average sized tank or at least 1m or under.

This pump is very quiet, with plenty of power for my small pond water feature. It is annoying that the sponge filter is far too small so needs cleaning weekly. Cleaning the sponge requires a knife or screwdriver to prise off the plastic which feels like it will soon break with this regular treatment. Also the power adjustment dial is so tiny it won't turn with fingers and needs pliers. The adjustment dial turns about 180 degrees but only the last couple of degrees gives any reduction in water flow, making adjustment very fiddly if almost non existent. Just a few simple design tweaks could have made this a much more user friendly pump to maintain.
