The bowl in general is good. It has enough space to store water for even a day and a half (really good because my dog drinks a lot of water). Easy to ensable and my dog didn’t have any trouble learning how to use it.Only thing is I bought it because I have a maltese, and he used to spill a lot of water due to his long hair when drinking from a regular plastic bowl.Now, he does spill some water, but not as much as before and he can’t turn this new bowl like he did before ( that used to drive me crazy hahahaha).So if you’re looking for a water bowl that won’t spill and won’t make your maltese, or any type of dog with long hair, get wet and by consequence wet the floor , then I recommend a hamster type of bottle, that way their hair won’t touch the water and there would not be any kind of spilling.

I love this Slow Water Bowl, and so do my two pups. The water stays in the bowl and my pups can’t “carry” water throughout the house. The drinking area on the bowl allows the pups plenty to drink, while not getting too much water in their mouths to carry around. It may take more licks for water but the water stays in the bowl and they get plenty. The Seller was fantastic with a small issue I had and went above and beyond to rectify the issue. Superb customer service!!! If you are looking for a good, streamlined, says what it does on the package, Slow Water Bowl, this will be the first and last one you will need!!It is easy to rinse and refill as you need, but should be taken apart ever few days and cleaned well. We know how food and treats may get in the water and none of us wants a sick pet because the bits did not rinse out.

I received our dog water bowl two days ago. My daughter and I put it together in less than three minutes and introduced it to our 17 pound dog. He sniffed the bowl and took a drink and then another drink and then another drink without spilling a drop. We are in love with this bowl. My husband even commented that there are no more drip spots on the floor or ground.I wanted to test how well this bowl could keep the water dish cleaner for our dog. Leaves, bugs, and dirt were always getting in the water bowl resulting in several water changes a day when we placed the water bowl outside. If a leaf did land on this water bowl, it most likely did not land in the water portion and was easy to pick off with our fingers not even getting wet. Our neighbor's cat even came over and investigated the water bowl. I reached down and splashed the water a bit and she took a drink. I noticed she came over again this morning for another drink. She doesn't seem to mind sharing it with our dog either. I highly recommend this water bowl to anyone with a fur pet.

This model was better than the last as far as taking the floating disk apart, but it is still kinda hard to get apart to clean. I didn't buy this for travel. I bought to try to slow down how fast my dog drinks. It helps a little but she still has problems. I wish they made a smaller version as this one is bigger than I need. There is also alot of wasted space in the corners that are harder to clean and dry than the previous one. It's seems very sturdy and of quality materials.

This bowl does lessen the water that gets splashed and dragged when your dog drinks. It also keeps long ears out of the water. Messy drinkers still leave some water on the floor after drinking, but overall it does help keep most of the water in the bowl.

I wish had found this bowl sooner. We have a boxer that is a very messy drinker so I did have a regular water bowl in a litter pan to help catch all the mess. Now we also have a new pup and he likes to stand in the litter pan the walk all over with wet feet. It was a mess!! Now with this bowl we only have a few drips on the floor from the boxer. Every once in a while the puppy tries to put his paw in it and push the disk down. I am super pleased with it happy that I am not constantly wiping up a big mess.

I had hoped it came in a larger size but seems not., the seller offered me a free one to try to see if it would work for my giant breed dogs. I was so excited about the possibility of no spills or wter everywhere i went ahead an bought one. Its nicely made doesn't spill and does reduce the water drooled over the floor.... unfortunately I might need ten to not have to refill the item so often, I do like the ease of filling it. I am disabled and that was a bonus for me.

i have two medium sized dogs both weigh about 60 lbs. For the summer i don't think this is big enough for them. Right now in the winter i fill it once or twice a day once in the morning once at night and have another ceramic water bowl i like to leave out for them too. I love that the water does not spill out and its really easy to clean. if you need absolutely no spillage to happen it might be better to put it on a baking sheet so that can catch any just in case and if you accidentally kick it while it's full it will spill.

My puppy had a habit of playing with her other water bowl. This meant a lot of water mess and she would run out of water for herself!This looked like our solution, and it was! It's way too big and heavy for her to pick up, and she can still drink easily from it.She won't get any bigger than 8 pounds max and this looks like it will hold up for a long time to come. Feels solid for what it is. Happy customer here!

I was worried when I ordered this bowl because of some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I do not find it hard to take apart to clean, there are little notches on each side of the rim that hold the top in place and you just have pop it out of each side. Also the float works fine in mine and really helps slow my dogs drinking down. With his old dish, which was just a normal dog dish he would choke every time he drank. I haven't seen him do that since getting this dish, which is the reason I bought it. It is also a good size. All in all I am glad I made this purchase.

My dog had a problem of drinking like it was his last time... then would vomit it all out... Was really getting worried about it. Found this bowl and am amazed. No more problems, my Bullmastiff drinks it all but the quantity is controlled in a way so she’s not getting to much water at once.Amazing product

Our cats have dramatically reduced the amount of water they put on the floor.This is a great solution for cats that like to play with their water dishes.

Our dog would drink until he threw up, now with this bowl he doesn't. It limits his water intake and gives him bits at a time. Perfect for overdrinkers.
