My experience with cycloastragenol is so different than everyone else's that I simply had to post this report. Most people don't feel results from taking cycloastragenol for at least a month, but I started feeling it within 48 hours. The first evening I took 5 mg. Then next day I took 15 mg in 3 divided doses. The next day I took 20 mg in 4 divided doses. And the following day I took 5 mg. I'm not taking anymore. Initially I got a tremendous increase in physical energy and well-being, but this soon shifted into a kind of racing anxiety that escalated for around 24 hours, and then for another 24 hours I went into a painful delirium, with a excruciating tender digestive tract that hurt with every breath, nausea, shaking and chills. There's no question in my mind that this was due to the cycloastragenol. I think that I must be acutely sensitive to it, because I couldn't find any other reports online like my own. I probably took too much, but I followed the instructions on the bottle-- so it may be the instructions that are at issue here. I'm 53 years old. What nobody seems to realize about cycloastragenol is that it's biologically active in other ways besides activating telomerase (if indeed it actually does that, as this may be questionable, according to some reports that I've read.) The positive health effects that many people are reporting from cycloastragenol seem to be due to other biologically unidentified factors. I really doubt that the increased energy and well-being that I initially experienced was due to any increase in telomere length so quickly. I think that cycloastragenol may be helpful for some people, as the initial well-being and energy that I felt was great, no one else has reported what I experienced, and I'm apparently a rare case-- but more research and clinical studies are needed. I'm pretty convinced that I overdosed on this. Particularly sensitive individuals may want to keep this in mind-- that some people may be acutely sensitive to this substance, like me-- and 20 mg of it can be a lot and it appears to build up in one's system over time. What I went through for around 24 hours was quite unpleasant and I don't want anyone else to ever have to experience what I did. I've considered that a smaller and more infrequent dose might help me, but after what happened I don't ever want to touch it again.*Update July 18, 2015: Despite the seemingly firm and resolute conviction in my review above, something compelled me to try this interesting supplement again. In retrospect now, I think that I just have a really unusual sensitivity to the substance, as further experimentation with it revealed that I could now feel as little as 5 mg of it after just a few hours. I get a strong sense of well-being from this, significantly more energy, better mood, more confidence, and just overall, everything in my body feels a bit better. However, after what happened to me initially, I'm now concerned to take more than 5 mg a week. But I can feel those 5 mg for at least 24 hours. I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing effects like this, so quickly with so little.

I am on about day 5. It is helping and I did not expect it to. Usually vitamins do not have any immediate effect. I am in my 50s closer to 60 and I am using one 5 milligram capsule a day when I get up (not always morning). The first 2 days I was more energetic. The first 24 hour period I could not sleep. Then I slept better than before. I have noticeably less back pain and more flexibility. No other changes to diet and I normally use zero pharmaceuticals, zero preserved foods, no GMOs, all vegetarian, kosher, and mostly raw/vegan. There is no weight gain. I might be pooping a little more than usual. It is an excellent investment in prevention and for prime members at forty bucks instead of $72 it is an unbeatable bargain, unless the 2% fillers turn out to be toxic. I read the label. It looks normal to me. The original brand is $20 more for the same size/amount without any discount. Finally, prime pays.P.S. Day 6 and I weighed myself. My BMI is 27, and roughly three full pounds less fat than a week ago when I began trying this product. So there is no weight gain from the product. I have had less appetite. Hair is still white but if it changes I will take a new photo. My passport photo is posted online on my other websites, has shaved head but hair is mostly white.

Meh this stuff was barely passable, not sure it did anything compared to other higher quality brands. Seemed cheaply made but wasn’t much cheaper.

This is good if you don't have a problem with blood sugar. If you are controlling Type II diabetes it will cause your blood sugar to go through the roof. Otherwise, it works as well as TA 65 at a fraction of the price.

Within 2 weeks of taking this cycloastragenol supplement, I felt noticeable difference in energy level. I have asthma so I am trying all kinds of prescription medicines. I have to admit this supplement is the best.-Increase in my energy level while working out.-Grow some dark hair-Great allergy defiance. Become less sensitive to dust, mold and seasonal allergies.-Solid immunity. I was not impacted this winter while all my family came down with flu.I’m a 50-something male.

Astragalus caused major breakout. Can no longer take.

Appears to be a good product, but realistically, how can you tell? The huge drawback with cycloastragenol is that it will make you gain weight. Expect to eat like a horse.

Taking this as part of a formula to lengthen Telomeres. 7 weeks in and it seems to be working.
