BACKGROUNDI have a two story home that faces north. Due to this fact, I never receive enough sunshine on the area surrounding my front door. After many failed attempts even with low light plants, I realized I would have to turn to artificial plants for decorative purposes.After much hunting and searching I came across these topiary plants. They were expensive but I was willing to give them a chance.USEAGE & APPERANCEThey arrived in a very heavy duty box in which I had to cut through numerous bindings and wrappings to free the items inside.There were many leaves that had come off during transportation but the plants still looked full after I shaped them after removal from their crate. The plants did not turn out to be the height advertised but were shorter. This was fine because I relocated them into a pedestal base. The plants are pre-potted but, truthfully, the base pot that arrives with these plants are cheap looking and I felt did not provide enough of a stable base.These trees are going on sixteen months now and I have not had any issues. They are, for the most part, covered, and so they have only experienced some rainy weather. They do receive sunshine on a daily basis for about four hours yet I do not notice any loss of color.The plants are very realistic from a distance but are noticeable if inspecting within a few feet. I have received compliments on how beautiful and shapely they are though. Also, I have wrapped them in Christmas lights which help with the holiday cheer and, recently for Halloween, have coated them in fake cobwebs and spiders to provide a scary mood for the upcoming trick-or-treaters.CONCLUSIONThese topiary plants match others that are both in the same design class as well as price range. I recommend them but remember they do come shorter than what is advertised.

purchased four 5' artificial Cedar trees for outdoor use.they look fine since they are 50 feet away from the road so I gave them 4 stars.Close up....probably 3 stars..appear a little plastic like but fit our need since all things green are deer feed regardless of resistance.Important to consider before you purchase:HEIGHT - I suggest purchasing the 6 foot tree and shape down to 5 feet..perhaps foreign measurement is different because these trees are definitely not 5feet tall. Also the top branches are quite scant.SHAPING - Takes many hours. You must be VERY careful because the plastic leaves come off very easily. Good thing there are +1500 on each tree- many are off when you open the box and more come off when shaping. I have these trees up against the house so I was able to push the branches to the front of the plants...seems to be the only way to get a full appearance.OUTDOORS - if you plan to keep these tree outside you must puncture the container. There is no way for the rain to escape;it takes a mighty force to pierce the planter but definitely necessary.

Just got these...I’ve read that they don’t hold up well but I’m going to give it a try. You can see the metal trunk from some angles (if you’re looking). I think they look real. They are a little expensive but heavier than other manufacturers. The attachments on the branches fall off easily so be careful “fluffing them”.

About 4-4.5ft tall, look very realistic, but the price is just a tad too high. My dog brushed against one of mine (I ordered two) a couple of times and it already started shedding. The quality is great, but still not enough for the price.

These artificial trees are able to fool the eye even when standing fairly close. The color and shape of the " leaves" is good but fluff carefully as some will detach. (Don't grab by the tips--reach in and bend branches closer to the trunk.) The only downside is these trees are NOT sixty inches tall. Stage them in a taller pot if you need the height.

Wow...Right out of the box, I cant believe my eyes. It looks so real even up close. But when touching it, then you know its not real. Very confusing to the senses. In my opinion, this has to be one of the best. I was quite skeptical even though majority of the reviews were good and you really cant beat the price for this quality. Even the right height. 60" from the bottom of the pot to top. Just beautiful and life-like just exactly as all these reviews given after all. Whewww. Highly recommended.

These arrived on time and well packaged. As others mentions some tips had fallen off during transport, but no matter they still look full and beautiful I've wrapped them in Christmas lights for this Holiday season. They will be fun on my porch year round. They're expensive but I think good quality and a good value. I like them a lot. =) Buy with confidence!

Took a while to get the pair because I [initially] only received a single topiary for my purchase of a pair. Of course, as is usual for Amazon, it all got ironed out in the end and now MY front door is adorned with these regal beasts, too. Hefty weight, realistic look, and a great price for a PAIR of 50" cedar topiaries.Pride of ownership = Hard work rewarded
