Just as I was getting into the story it ended. I wish it had been longer, with more substance. What was there was really good. I will be recommending this author to my friends.

The writing is good. It reminds me very much of Jordan Siver, and that is HIGH praise. Jordan is the premier author of bad boys and the girls they are obsessed with. If you are OK with stories where the "hero" is a complete and unrelenting bastard to the "heroine", then you might like this. I enjoyed most of the dirty, but was troubled by the humiliation parts. My problem was I kept expecting Gage to show some tenderness or softening toward Amber--like Gage, she had no say in their parents choices. I thought he would finally have a break through and change of attitude. That didn't happen, and in the end, I was left not liking either of them very much. Ms. Lordes did not promise a happy, or nice, ending, so I don't blame her for my expectations. If you are looking for a bad boy and troubled girl story with an HEA, this isn't for you. I do hope the author keeps writing, because I enjoyed her style and the visceral way she delivered her story. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her future characters to find some happiness.

This story is a quickly readable. It's dark..., exotic..., scorching,... Intense, plus also has intriguing events that makes you want more, and asking for more.😊

This was really short, basically one chapter. He steals her, rapes her and that's it. Seriously, don't waste your time or money.

I love the author. It was a bloody hot story. Revenge has never been sweeter. If you are looking for a hot story this is it.

Book was good to short. A little confused I need more before it ended. Hope the next one comes out fast.

I would classify this as dark romance with HFN scenario. Unfortunately this is one of those stories where the heroine is in a sad and bad situation. She is exploited by one man and then is taken up by this anti hero out of revenge. The relationship is all one sided. She pretty much as not choices then and she definably has not choices now. I would not read this story again. If you like dub con, sexual humiliation and degradation, and a heroine that is exploited then this story is for you. Just be prepared for dark read. I skimmed much of sexual scenes but the small parts I read were intense. A little to intense in the punishing sex.

Love the author. She is trying to go darker but this was mean spirited. Drugs mess you up and drugging someone and taking them with objects under threat of death because of what their dad did to you is mean spirited. And to end on that note leaves it unsettled.
