I bought this for my 17 year-old son. He fractured his patella and tore his MCL last fall, and has undergone surgery and physical therapy since. His leg is much better, but there is still some residual instability and joint pain if he isn't very careful about the position of his knee. We have gone through an array of knee braces, which have all served their purpose along the way, but none allowed him to push into the realm of "athletic" activity, until now. We ordered this brace just in time for spring baseball tryouts, and his feedback from first trying it on to wearing it through tryouts would be best described as uniformly ecstatic. There is no question in my mind that this is the best athletic knee stabilization available short of a custom brace. We measured him up according to the instructions on the Bauerfeind website, determined he was a 5, and ordered it. The fit is perfect. Great lateral stabilization, kneecap control and comfort. My only negative comments at this point would be the high cost and that I wish it was machine washable.

This is the best brace ever! Perfect fit less bulky, material is breatheable. Great support! Excellent quality well made! Easy to get on but you may need help to get it off. I’m recovering from a partial torn ACL/MCL torn lateral meniscus a tibial fracture. I also have the ankle brace for my severally sprained ankle.

For my knees

The brace is fantastic. Very supportive l, easy to put on and take off. However, thankfully my therapist recommended it and measured my leg to ensure I purchased the right size for me. If she wouldn’t have measured it I probably would have gotten the wrong size. 4 1/2 stars

I've had left knee problems since my teen years when I habitually jogged on asphalt. Minor discomforts turned into pain as I entered my 30's. I needed arthroscopic surgery by age 36. The surgery eliminated the pain. Unfortunately, the surgery severely limited many physical activities I formerly engaged in, mainly jogging or anything which involved jumping.I purchased Bauerfeind Left Knee Support shortly after my SIXTIETH (yes, 60th) birthday. To my shocking surprise, I am now able to skip rope up to 200 reps at a time. I have not skipped rope since I was a teenager. This Knee Support is a great product worth the investment.

This has been a great knee brace after I returned a few others. I picked up at the store because they were really Bunchie in the back of the knee.

Having no to remove the side supports is difficult before washing is the only complaint I have...otherwise as a bilateral knee replacement recipient...I can now trek 14ers in Colorado and elsewhere with much more confidence, more stability, and much less pain overall.
